10 songs Bollywood ripped off from Pakistan

.
I see nothing wrong in it...if anything Pakistanis should take it as a compliment and cherish the influence they have had on India through their arts...

Pity that people can't see the positive in this situation...

What is there to jump about? If India copied a dozen or two songs then Pakistan too has copied innumerable things from India. Not just songs but many other things.

What about your news channel Abb Takk? Its name as well as logo is ripped off Aaj Tak channel of India. Your women wear sarees, bangles, bindis which is Hindu culture. Many of your advertisements are straight lifts from India. Your channels balantly lift Indian contents for their programs.

We never complain. These things are too small for us. Indian entertainment Industry is humungous and literally 1000s of songs are churned out each month. Its natural that some people look for inspiration in other countries too.

Haha are u saying every artist in Pakistan is so 'Pak' that no copied/inspired/remaked song or movie has been ever produced!?
Never seen a **** movie so can't reciprocate in kind with the list of copycats over there, Though i m proud that people across the border are more in tune with my nation's entertainment industry than even myself, never heard half of the songs listed above. But my heartfelt thanks to all you Bollywood fans in Pakistan.
Waiting for someone to claim 1 Pakistani artist = 10 Indian artists.

Why are you complaining? They copy music from all over the world. No creativity whatsoever.

And how many songs has Pakistan ripped off from India? Probably about a million! :P :D
Music is not Big Industry here in Pakistan, So If some dude involved in mimicry of Indian song....then What??? :crazy:it earns him nothing.....We dont use them in Dramas / Movies??

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is the favorite musician of many Indians. And imitation is the best form of flattery. I cant wait for 'Yeh jo halka halka surooor' to be featured in an Indian flick. Its probably the most romantic song ever ever...

one of my Indian neighbor was willing to bet 1000 US that Nusrat fateh ali khan is Indian Singer.

I am pretty sure that pakistanis copied several hundred bollywood songs but we don't complain because unlike our western counterparts we dont watch their songs or movies and dont blame us, no one watch LOLlywood not even pakistanis. Their news channels broadcast indian song. They are crazy about bollywood movies, they dont even leave Indian patriotic movies. I am pretty sure most pakistanis here watched Movie like border and LOC.

:bunny: Next time buy the f**king song instead of downloading free and support your local talent instead of complaining. I would be a shame if any good artist whether Indian or Pakistani lives in poverty despite presence of millions fans on both side of border.

@ShowGun
In the same lighter vein i would like to add 1 pakistani fool = 10 Indian fool + .., Same goes for retards and so on..

Jokes apart i really fail to understand what the whole fuss is about. We concede you guys are better qawaals and bhands. We Indians on the other hand are more interested in getting entertained and thus the BIG MUSIC INDUSTRY. :smitten:

a) Why I pay "Money" for Song that wear-out in few days .....never " "
.
b) You're a big Country so in comparison for 1 song we produce here you create 100, so in the end weight goes on your favour
.
c) Our Strength vs Weakness..... I concede your above post, In Entertainment Field
Indian Industry Strength lies in MOVIES + SONGS + DANCE and all the related fields to that Industry
In Comparison our Strength lies in BHANDS & QAWALS

It's a gem isn't it? Written by the granfather of a very good friend of mine.

The only problem I have with others copying/imitating (or whatever) the Sufi kalam sung by Nusrat is that since they have no clue about the spiritual meaning of what is being said they destroy it and turn it into love songs, etc. For example Nusrat's Qawali "Afreen" is about the Holy Prophet (SAW) but the Indian producers who made the video turned it into about a scantly clad lady (I think Nusrat himself talked about this too). And "Halka Halka Suroor" is about the writer's love towards God but people not aware of how Sufi poetry works will take it in a completely other meaning.

And how many songs has Pakistan ripped off from India? Probably about a million! :p:D

Could you please give a couple of examples?
