Egypt

Current
Egypt signed a contract with French shipbuilder DCNS to buy two Mistral-class helicopter carriers for approximately 950 million euros. The two ships were originally destined for Russia, but the deal was canceled by France due to Russian involvement in Ukraine.[55]

On 2 June 2016, Egypt received the first of two helicopter carriers acquired in October 2015, the Landing Helicopter Dock Gamal Abdel Nasser. The flag transfer ceremony took place in the presence of Egyptian and French Navies’ Chiefs of Staff, Chairman and Chief Executive Officers of both DCNS and STX France, and senior Egyptian and French officials.[56] On 16 September 2016, DCNS delivered the second of two helicopter carriers, the Landing Helicopter Dock Anwar El Sadat which also participated in a joint exercise with the French Navy before arriving at its home port of Alexandria.[57]

Egypt is considered the first and only country in Africa and the Middle East to possess an aircraft carrier of such type.[58]
its a LHD "LANDING HELICOPTER DOCK" not a true AIRCRAFT CARRIER:disagree:

Japan

Helicopter carrier Hyūga
Current
3 helicopter carriers:

those are also "LANDING HELICOPER DOCK" not a AIRCRAFT CARRIER:disagree:

Thailand

The aircraft carrier HTMS Chakri Naruebet of the Royal Thai Navy.
Current

The AV-8S Matador/Harrier STOVL fighter wing, mostly inoperable by 1999,[72] was retired from service without replacement in 2006.[73] Ship now used for royal transport, helicopter operations, and as a disaster relief platform.[74

Look at the role of this ship:disagree:

Rest countries are all have global ambitons:blah:

.
Give me the role/purpose of an AIRCRAFT CARRIER for PN, tit for tat between India and Pakistan is over:hitwall::mad::angry:, tell me bro how many countries have AIRCRAFT CARRIER without global ambitions, the answer is BIG "0":disagree: the AIRCRAFT CARRIER will be useless and liability on economy for Pakistan:devil::crazy::crazy::crazy:

Bro, you miss the point. We were discussing about Pakistan military in 2030. In 2030 Pakistan GDP and defence budget will be much bigger than today so it won't be a burden on economy of Pakistan. Our neighbor is the biggest threat to us and they have 2 aircraft carrier so we will need one in future. Small countries even Thailand uses an aircraft carrier.

.
Tne programs in addition to program that are being pursued already? That doesn't sound like focus at all.....

When you look at the Spanish one(which turkey is getting too), it can be configured for aircraft for both.

MAYBE for AV-8B that applies. However, for F-35B, not without expensive modifications. See comments of Australian navy on the prospective use of F-35b from Canberra class LPH (which, like the Turkish ship, is the the Spanish navy Navantia design).

Meanwhile, I still do not see why PN would need a ship like this, which is for an expeditionary navy. What argumentation for it? What is the implication of acquisition of such a ship for the structure of the remainder of the fleet? If anything, start with the basics. E.g. a Makassar class LPD as designed by South Korea and built in Indonesia for the Indonesian navy.

AIRCRAFT CARRIER is useless for Pakistan in near and distant future, tit for tat games between India and Pakistan is over, and Thailand not have a true AIRCRAFT CARRIER BUT LHD "LANDING HELICOPTER DOCK":disagree:

What will be the nature of job/role of your proposed AIRCRAFT CARRIER for PN?o_O:what: just for show off:rofl::lol: PN is not expeditionary navy like Australia, Italy, Spain etc etc.:blah:

Sorry, but the Thai navy ship Chakri Naruebet is NOT an LHD! It does not have a dock, nor any facilities for carrying, handling or landing troop, vehicles or cargo (so, if carried at all, these would have to camp out on the hangar deck, which can only be a temporary situation and interpheres with aviation operations). Like the larger Spanish navy ship Principe d'Asturias from which it was derived, it is descendent of the USN Sea Control Ship concept, which was an 'escort carrier' intended to carry ASW and AEW assets (helicopters) and AV-8 Harrier jump jets. Without Harriers, it effectively becomes a helicopter carrier.

Finally, the navy's of Australia, Italy, Spain, Turkey, South Korea etc. etc. aren't expeditionary either.

Why Do we Need an Aircraft Carrier??

Our Navy needs Frigates Corvettes and Destroyers in good numbers Badly
We need a Heavy Aircraft Like J-11 or J-16 in our Naval wing in Karachi and Gwadar

Warships (Frigates/Corvettes/Destroyers) was mentioned in the post, unfortunately the shipyard in Karachi isn't really doing that(which is why its on the list).

These things Navy Should Focus on till 2030 rather then Carrier

Tit for tat over? are you serious? :D :D

Thailand Aircraft carrier. She is assigned to the Third Naval Area Command, and her intended duties include operational support of the RTN's amphibious warfare forces, patrols and force projection around Thailand's coastline and economic exclusion zone, disaster relief and humanitarian missions, and search-and-rescue (SAR) operations.

If we go by your logic than we don't even need a submarine with nuke capabilities right?

Yes it is over:agree: and it should be over now:), we haven't big EEZ and sea lanes all those missions can easily be conducted by multi-role FFG and DDG, we need air defense destroyers and frigate rather than useless and crapy AIRCRAFT CARRIER for Pakistan.:p:
Yes if we can fire SLCM from SSK (conventional submarine) who needs SSGN ( nuclear submarine) and remember that today's SSK habe almost same capabilities as SSGN, if you have cheaper solution why would you go at expensive oneo_O:what:
