What's new

1 killed, 2 injured in accident at under-construction nuke (Arihant like) submarine

We had heard about four hulls S 1,S 2,S 3 & S 4 being built at L&T Hazira.
S 1-supplied to BARC for testing of PWR
S 2 - Arihant
S 3-Aridhaman
S 4 ??

From S 4,it will be larger.

Yes and it would get destroyed at same level

Taliban Supporters should try try hard to achieve that.

The fourth one would be Arihant Follow on class.I dont if larger PWR are being developed.
I read in a reputed blog that BARC is devloping 150mw nuclear reactors for our SSN's and 190mw nuclear reactors for our follow on SSBN's.

They already have capability to do that. And they are building a 900 MW PWR for civilian nuclear program too.

Yeah but there is a difference between a minitiaurised nuclear reactor and a civilian reactor.

. . .
how much time do you think it will take
Not more than 5 or 6 years,we have already devloped design of 900mw nuclear reactor. But if you are sure that you have read it then i must be wrong.
