See the logical explanation is , turks etc used local workmen for their tombs initially .
Like in the mehruli acropolis or in sultan garhi on Delhi, hence the architecture was like older hindu architecture which is not seen in later sultante tombs of khiljis or sayiids and grander mughal...
It was established a mosque, at that time also .it has always been a mosque , it says the graves have been used many times since 6th century.
