Expert: China's aircraft carrier may use upgraded version of J-11 fighters
China's first aircraft carrier, the Liaoning, is over 300 meters long and over 70 meters wide. The distance from the keel to the top of the mainmast is over 60 meters. There are 10 decks below the main deck, and nine...
South China Sea Fleet in training
A marine brigade under the South China Sea Fleet of the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) carried out training on such subjects as rapid assembly and loading, long-range maneuver, and beach seizing and landing on the eve of the National...
Oops, you got ban again? Not from this thread I hope.
I think India has all the technology she needs at this point or perhaps, a little improvements here and there. What she needs is modern shipbuilding management technology and no red tapes.
There are many proven players in Europe that would love to work with India in the technology side. Korea warship tech is unproven and cost saving is not a big criteria for India at this point, advance ship building and management are. Once you have these two cost effectiveness will come...
A joint venture with Korea in ship building is a great idea, India can learn the commercial side from Korea and Korea can learn about warship technology from India, Win win
It's probably they are still on a celebratory mood, but I think, it won't be long before they are ready to get down on the real business-go out to the sea.
(Actually I didn't want to derail this thread until the gentleman above invited us in with his comment)
LOL The way I know you, as good a conniver as any, I knew you have it and that's you don't see me really accusing you for providing a source without a link. Never try to con a pro, so to speak.
You don't have a link that said publish through Kriskof, even if it does an endorsement by the gent is unlikely. However you think of Kriskof carries as much weight as how I think of him.
We have hundreds of proofs but we're not going present them for the same reason I criticize yours but this one is endorse by a reputable scholar with NYT backing.
LOL at the people who put out a Japanese source. Couldn't any better.
Im sympathetic to Chinas position. I dont think it is 100 percent clear, partly because China seemed to acquiesce to Japanese sovereignty between 1945 and 1970, but on balance I find the evidence for Chinese...
Me neither, but then when various governments say so we have to give weights to their opinions. When Germany formally apologized to its former victim nations we never witness individuals or groups came out and refuted their apologies. Where as in Japan there are many right wingers constantly...
None of those were formal apology from a government to the nation of victims. They were all political double talks:
"we are painfully aware", "We view with deep regret the vexation", "The Japanese side is keenly conscious",
"It is indeed regrettable that there was an unfortunate past...
No matter, damages are done. Sarkozy wasn't welcomed in China and Hallande probably won't. There's no wonder as to why Germany performs better than any of these yoyos.
Is that what it is? No wonder my friends tell me don't bring any camera when traveling to India because the government doesn't want anything to be copied by the Chinese including the ...uh..
