Asylum seekers (both genuine and bogus) will never have passport or any ID on them, otherwise nothing can stop the host country from putting them on a plane back.
It pains my heart when I read such terrible news about Turkey, just like it does when these happen in Pakistan.
I flew out of Ataturk just last month which actually adds to the shock and grief. I wasn't impressed with the security at all.
I had a big bottle full of water in my hand luggage...
While I do agree the counter narrative is not good or strong enough, if there is any to begin with, you also cannot deny the fact that you can easily become a 'scholar' if you boast about the American/Western view of the story.
Just start bashing ISI, Pakistan Army and its policies, and viola...
'I am a scholar in the US' haha that is grand!
The dude started from Jamaat-e-Islami, jumped onto PML, then onto PPP.
A 'Jihadist' becomes 'scholar' in the US, the colors of life huh
That is a sad news indeed. Apart from being innocent, he was also an educated Pakistani man who was more useful to the society than a lot of us. I don't give a f**k what his religious beliefs were.
I couldn't care less what Qadyanis believe and what others think about them, as long as it stays a debate and doesn't turn into violence which in turns harms Pakistan - the only thing that matters to me in all this crap useless discussion.
The 'Billions in aid' obviously didn't come out of their well wishes for Pakistan. As Donald Trump put it a few weeks ago 'Our allies are not our allies for free', the same applies to Pakistan. You might want to check how much Pakistan has suffered economically due to fighting America's wars...
Get a few of the perpetrators and throw acid on them, with public to watch. That will definitely deter all the insecure assholes who resort to this inhumane crime.
