I think you might want to check up on those numbers, M1's are very tough to kill and most of those taken out so far have been done by IED's. You may be thinking of the number of damaged tanks. You say about RPG's against tanks, one Challenger 2 survived 8 direct RPG hits and one from a MILAN...

What weapon were you using with 5.56mm ammo? I can tell you it certainly does kill, maybe not first round kill as with the 7.62x51 but generally the first round will incapacitate the target. If not then it is easy enough to put a few more in accurately and quickly, more so than with the 7.62...

I would say far more than that, France and Sweden operate at night for certain and that is just two. I can list a lot of air forces that I am quite sure operate at night.

Yeah, they need to get to learn how to use all this equipment properly for it to be effective. They will need to change doctrines and tactics to use their new toys most effectively. Even after taking delivery of them and being trained how to use them they will need time to be able to use them...

Can I just ask which 5 countries you have down as able to fly and operate at night? I can think of more than 5 countries that should have this capability.
