Except Tripura Chakmas are pesecuted all over India. CHT development is barred by tribes themselves. They dont want the serenity to be destroyed by development. But Chakmas are the most wealthiest people among NE india and CHT. You will die five times to be a Chakma.

If you are so fond of your local customs, why all the states of NE except Tripura/Assam converted to Christianity?
