both quantity and quality... by 2018 our air force wuld be strong enuf to counter any attack... after 2018 v will consider any smaller version of 5th gen fighter.. but the most important thing v r lacking right now is some nice Air Defence system..

i do respect the fact... and the fact is MKI is not a 5th gen fighter.. lower RCS is not going to make it invisible all the tym in radar... TVC wont save it frm couple of SD-10s.. long range radar wont help MKI every tym to shoot first.. u must respect the fact

i agree with you.. SU 30 MKI iz not a stealthy 5th gen fighter which can not be detected by radar.. lyk i posted before tht it wuld be difficult to detect it coz of itz lower RCS but once it is in the radar thn it wont say tht em 4.5++ gen fighter so u can not shoot me.. :P remember our JF 17s...

i think JF 17 can become a headache for Indians... intercepting a 5th gen fighter is impossible at itz current specs.. but intercepting a 4.5 gen fighter is DIFFICULT but not Impossible... our JF 17 does not hav AESA but KARAKORAM EAGLE does hav..
