Well Indians aint going anywhere. Funny how no concession were made and Hindus/Sikhs/Non-muslims in Lahore and Karachi were made to leave their ancestral homes as well

Same thing applies to Kashmiris. Those who are patriotic/secular and like India will stay, those who are not happy and want an Islamic Republic may go to greener pastures in Pakistan. The land aint going anywhere.

the population of Kashmir may be mostly muslim but the land and culture is predominately Hindu it was a good laugh reading some of the Pakistani members comments Kashmir is and will remain an integral part of India and Pakistan can't do a damn thing about it imo the land of Kashmir should really belong to its original Hindu inhabitants not the people who are the product of Aurangzeb's and Sikander Batshikan's forced conversion to Islam.

We never said Kashmiris should leave Kashmir. All I have said is that no matter what, we are totally against the partition of our country. No one is breaking India again. Kashmiri separatists are free to leave the Indian Kashmir and go into Pakistan if they are not happy here. I will personally pay for their visa applications. But, not even an inch of Indian land is going to be given up, that is all.

I personally think that the Line of Control should be called an International Border (with Pakistan keeping its share of Kashmir and Indians keeping its share of Kashmir). I think that the problems in Indian Kashmir have significantly reduced and also a lot of development has been going on, and I honestly see Indian Kashmir is heading the right direction the last two to three years. Similarly, Pakistan should focus on development on its own Kashmir. But we will see how everything unfolds in the future.

if your asking for my opinion Pakistan India and Bangladesh should have never been partitioned in the first place we are all the same people just because we have different faiths doesn't mean we should be separate regardless of caste or religion i don't judge based on that i only judge based on actions

but my point is prior to Sikander Batshikan and all the other rulers before the 13th century Kashmir was a land of only Hindus and Buddhists the Kashmiri Pandits are the true Kashmiris and we will not screw them and let them go with Pakistan where the already anti western and pro Wahabi society will force them to convert or kill them.

I meant if were the big neighbour like China is to Xinjiang. if Pak was in place of Xinjiang for centuries. It would be now under chinese rule coz originally it was hans land(though false claim) as per chinese logic. I think that would have surely been the case.

Muslims were never forced to leave India. Of course during the partition, there might have been communal clashes. But the principle of our founders are that all religions can live in this country harmoniously, even if it has Hindu majority. Mr. Jinnah also had a similar principle, except that he believed that all religions can live peacefully under Muslim majority. But the facts are here to be seen. Muslim population in India has grown from 9% during independence to 13% now. Hindu population in Pakistan has come down from 10% to 1%. In India Secular people form the majority and communal elements are the minority( In Pakistan Sunni Muslims are the majority and rest are minority). As long as there are more Secular people in Kashmir, it belongs to India.
