It can be safely estimate that only 10% to 20% may have been recovered successfully out of the total looted.

There is a difference between declared wealth and hidden stolen wealth. Pablo Escobar had a net worth of approximately $50b (in today's money) but he never made it to the Forbes richest people's list because his income was not declared and taxed.

So do not compare people who made it to Forbes list through haq halal kamai with looters and plunderers.

Two points that should not be forgotten

1) He didn't loot this money in one financial year, but since early 70's when Bhutto's family came to power, they have been amassing wealth. After BB's death, this wealth got in hands of Zardari. Every year few 100's of millions being transferred illegally and under pseudo names is not rocket science for such an evil genius.

2) If he bought something for 100 million USD in 1990, its worth might be more than a billion USD after nearly 3 decades.

So when someone says he doesn't have this much money, I highly doubt it. At the same time I highly doubt he has agreed to pay even 20 million USD. The current system of justice can't do justice. People haven't given enough votes to PTI , like 70-80%, for IK to make fundamental changes in the system of justice in Pakistan.

After seeing the billions of rupees i.e. million of dollars found in rehri walas, rikshaw drivers account, you still not getting how the money is concealed!!
It is not Zardaris, but now we have full trails available how Sharif used their servants, even policemen to bring the money back to Pakistan. Those who had never been out of Pakistan, have no means of such income etc.

I mean corruption is not an one man army. You have to pay off every people from the top to pune. Simply everyone involved and I dont think even military, judiciary would had been immune to this. If that's the case, just prosecuting the top person without changing the system would not bring any real change to corruption issue.

Only the 2G scam in India is worth 40 billion USD the mother of all scams. How the money is laundered and satshed away in Swiss and other countries accounts is another matter.
