What's new

Zakir Naik's Peace TV fined £300,000 for hate speeches as it pulls out of the UK

You can hate him all you like for not liking Pakistan. Just don't make him a lesser Muslim based on that.

I have a close childhood friend, a Muslim at that one, who had a habit of visiting Haji Ali and Siddhivinayak temple on the same day before something auspicious. Like exam results, or even before proposing to a girl. It lucked out well for him with that girl.

Now people would argue what business he has in a Hindu temple? But lots of Hindus visit Haji Ali as well.

That is why Indian Muslims can be so different from their Pakistani counterparts - religion does not make the whole fabric of a person. It's often cultural. But, you have to be a secular Indian to understand that thing which unfortunately is a struggle in Hindutva India. Somewhere in the last decade, we lost that nation.

In a similar way I don't see much in common with Pakistani Hindus. They really look and behave different.

EDIT: Let me add this guy wasn't overly religious. He was always clean-shaven (to impress the girls, of course). But he did observe Ramadan fasting and Halal rules. Religion to him was a private matter. And I would say, not the only Muslim person like that. Loads of them were identical.

It was really nice to hang out in a group and noone really cared what religion you followed. Of course, in my immediate friend circle, that is still the case. But not sure about the rest of India nowadays.

He plays both sides. Before his banishment by the BJP government... He was a proponent of Hindu-Muslim Bhai-Bhai BS!

He used the mantra of Pakistan bashing to appease the Hindus of India. Trying to be more Loyal than the King.

Now he is running for his life... Looking for a "Pakistan"... Lol.

What a looser!!!
He is a preacher. He does Dawa'ah for a LIVING.

How can he succeed if he says Hindus are evil all the time???

How can any Hindu consider adopting Islam if the preacher hates them openly?

Think.

Instead of hating Hindus always, try to spread our message far and wide. It works better in the long run. Nations will come and go. Relax.

He doesn't need to say Hindus are evil
.. he needs to realize Muslims in India have no future with a Hindu community that is at war with Islam.

Zakir Naik condition today proves my point... He is running away from a nation that still couldn't stand his Islam... Now he is running looking for a "Pakistan" to save him!

That is my proof.

He knows that.

That is why he left India YEARS ago.

But he cannot openly say that because he is a public figure. Openly accepting it means closing the doors to millions ofHindus who may be interested in reverting to our Deen.

It is his sacrifice. Respect him for that.

Is he not as well banned in Pakistan and Iran, following the guide lines set by Modi !

Good... At least you agree... Hindu Muslims can never live together!

Thank God for Pakistan!

Indian Muslims need to make their own New "Pakistan" now.

Nyah, I know him very well so I'm sure he's not as CRAZY as you. LOL, j/k

The fact which I mentioned may not surprise you but it might surprise a Pakistani.

You can't really tell the difference between Indian Hindus and Muslims if both have likeable personalities.

But I will agree I may have been raised in a very different world, and others experiences might be more "communal."

Ah, we don't live in an ideal world.

I envy you, at times.

Anyway, sleep now.

The world gets flipped upside down beyond our own preconceived notions of "ideal world". The world normal can be flipped on its head overnight. Case in point, Middle East Arab Springs, Coronavirus Global crisis etc.

They Plan and Scheme; Allah also Plans, and He is the best of planners.

I am not necessarily a fan of Zakir Naik. I have become a little allergic over the years when it comes to following one specific individual for all of my information. Zakir Naik has also made some critical blunders in the past. Although I am not going to judge him, Zakir Naik has been trying to appease the hardcore RSS janta by opposing Pakistan. Justice was long overdue.

However, this move does look very much like a witch hunt. No two ways about it. The RSS brigade has been walking on thin ice lately. After the Tablighi Jamaat witch hunt the Arabs are not going to appreciate yet another mishap. Let there be no mistake.
