What's new

That must've run a pretty penny, to replace the rotors, calipers & brake pads, and the hub as well? Cool vent holes on the rotor discs and looks like some serious scoring on the old one after going through the pads? And the new M3 caliper looks like it has the low brake pad sensor on it or is that something else? What year M3 is that?

The OEM rotors and pads cost about $1500, and I opted to keep the old calipers which were still in good shape. On the 2018 F80, the front left and right rear pads have the wear indicator sensors, which I also replaced. The hubs usually do not require changing unless the rotor locator bolts seize and cannot be removed. Salt is the culprit in the Northeast usually. But once all sorted, the brakes on the car are a joy to use enthusiastically (as the old parts show). :D
