Which car do you currently own is a very common question on PDF but it would be nice to know how much do you spend on fuel and what is your vehicle's mile-per-gallon. I am particularly interested in the mpg you get and not the claim figures copied from internet.

These are the two cars I own/have access

Citroen Nemo - approximate

City: 43 miles per gallon
Highways: 65
Combined: 53

Toyota Yaris

City: 34+/- slightly more or less
Highways: 40 +/-
Combined: 36 +/-

My average fuel cost is: 25 pounds per week

So the topic of this thread is:

  • The car you own
  • Your vehicle's mpg
  • How much do you spend on fuel

well crappy cars of course but they do my job right now..

Hoping to buy Prius soon... Probably in October.. It's either Prius, Insignia or Nissan Leaf.. but this thread is not about my favourite/future cars :D

I am not sure... But they definitely sell in UK

What is the best car? The one whose key is in your hand! :D

The Prius is a better choice than the Leaf, for sure.

I wrote in miles and some members are mentioning in kilometres... it's not a big issue but worthy to be highlighted properly

I have had Prius before... Yeah unique look of Nissan leaf is not eye catching and not enough mileage range for most of my journeys but see I have another van too.. So car is only to drive within the city..

I think I will ultimately buy Prius once again as the range really means a lot to me... or the second choice is Vauxhall Insignia.. One of my cousin has it and I absolutely loved it

About 22/24 MPG

But it is mostly city so terrible mileage.

The new Corolla Altis, 1.8.
oh Altis in UK? perhaps you are talking about in Pakistan as Altis is a very popular brand over there.

cool.. that would be very costly drive but I hope it does compensate with the luxury

Yes in Pakistan. Just got it about 1 week back. Mostly driving in heavy traffic so mileage is low. It's manual 6 speed, comes with a good infotainment system. Android infotainment with wireless/bluetooth, back up camera etc. Haven't gotten the chance to drive on highway so i am sure the real mileage would be more than that.
