A good society still needs lawyers. It is an important profession but in the west it's one that is utilized in such a way nowadays. Teachers, engineers, doctors, nurses, scientists, trades, farmers, workers. All honest and important jobs that deserve a higher reward than lawyer.

Lawyers earning too much is symptom of the corruption. This is undeniable even by those who benefit from the system and the world order.

The law should be as lack and white as possible with no blurred lines. Blurred lines is where cunning lawyers get paid so much by companies or individuals wishing to do something dodgy or dodge something. To exploit those blurred lines. This isn't productive for society as those intentions are often quite negative for the rest of the society. If they are innocent and they are truthful and honest they don't need the best lawyers to get to the truth.

Things are bent so much in the west that semantics alone is a whole dimension of arguing things. These people are so talented they can argue black as white and good as wrong. They won't stop talking about it until you agree with them or you ignore them. Chinese are more pragmatic people to be talented in this area lol.
