Yılmaz Sets Turkiye’s 2024 Defence Export Target: $7 Billion

Vice President of Turkiye Cevdet Yılmaz announced that Turkish Defence Industry targets reaching $ 7 billion export volume. Speaking at the METU Research Centres Opening Ceremony, the Vice President of Turkiye said, “The defence and aviation sector achieved $5.5 billion of exports last year. Our expectation for this year is to reach $7 billion.”
Turkiye had fallen approximately $ 500 million short of its $ 6 billion export target for 2023. Yılmaz’s statement is the highest-level statement in terms of protocol regarding the sector’s export targets.

Achievable.

We could export a lot more if our foreign relations were better. SOM-J was going to be in USAF inventory now if it wasn't for that S-400 debacle.
