Yes Xiaomi is founded by a Chinese - Lei Jun, but other than private equities from PRC during mostly A-round funding, huge amount of equity is funded by non-Chinese, say from Russia (e.g. Yuri Milner), US (e.g. Richard Ji, an ex Morgan Stanley turned fund manager), Singapore (GIC) and a few others.

Let the customers decide dude, Xiaomi's win/loss is only their shareholders' business.
