Japan is going to invest 35 billion $, China will invest more than 100 billion dollars and heard that the deal with American is going to very very big. After that Putin is expected to come to India. What is changed in last 6 months that India has managed to bring that much of investment ? How are they milking them ?

India is going in right direction. Wish good of luck to them.

Change of government. Modi's gov is trying to attract foreign investors by doing economical labor reforms which were preventing investors to actually come to India. all that changed + China & Japan want to keep India by their side. I say go with China if we get friendly with China, Pakistan and Bangladesh also calm down -> PEACEFUL South Asia

India's previous Congress government would constantly block Chinese investment (in non-sensitive sectors), for some strange socialist ideological reasons.

That never made sense to me. Business is business. Luckily, the new Indian administration seems to be much more intelligent and business orientated than their predecessors.

Chinese are thinking about long term investments and with the $4tr reserves they have ,they just want a market to invest in ,which in future would provide good returns. Can't put aside the fact that are putting some pressure on $ € as well.But untill then ,let the money flood India ,we need it badly,call us greedy or whatever.

But sadly not that high enough (@$316bill)that we can empty it,this amount of reserve would be good enough to save our economy in times of crisis,as we simply cant take it for granted that there would be no crisis in the future,this is what RBI governer has to say as well,to add to that,we need reserves like that of china to feel completly secure of a slow down.which we sadly dont have.we had almost remained flat as far as reseves are concerned since 2008($326bill)
