What's new

Xi meets Saudi Arabia deputy defense minister

US now wants to kill the competition in the international weapon market by passing this new treaty on UN.

UN adopts global treaty on weapons trade

Thus the details about the deal of this visit cannot be revealed, and the Chinese medias have kept this news in low profile.

This fair enough

Chinese ambassador Li Baodong said "China is not in favor of pushing a multilateral treaty through the General Assembly.... It is a negative precedent, we should negotiate by consensus."

China is giving the MF but in a nice way^^^

I'm strongly pro-China!

Our relationship with PRC has developed effectively over the last few decades. Personally, I believe we both share many things in common from trading and else ,therefore we should work together to achieve our goals in near future.

What makes China unique isn't merely the economic might she became ,but rather her ideology. China is the only country; proving to the world that democracy isn't the answer for everything ,therefore the west is ought to be careful dealing with PRC. If you believe that America's worst nightmare is DPRK new young dictator, using atomic weapons ,or maybe Iran ,then you probably need to talk to someone ,China doubtlessly is America's worst nightmare. The latter always tries to contained PRC perhaps from every single corner in Southeast Asia ,claiming that China tries to intimidate her neighbors ,which is rubbish.

More trading with China, more fun LoL? ,and more bridges to be built to become a strategic ally of one another.

@Aeronaut

The SNG will definitely picks Pakistan and China ,just count on me on that.

@ChineseTiger1986

Both China and Saudi have developed a remarkable partnership beyond oil refineries industries budd:wave:
Now we have 1000s of students studying in China and vice versa. Many Chinese Muslims study in the Kingdom ,I was honored to meet some of them here in KSA. Also, now we both are working in our new gas field in the west coast. Today, Aramco hires people from PRC working together with us ,screw the west :P

Practically, the US can't do a damn thing about it! It's too late. Maybe Nixon should have thought 10 times about the future of PRC :p

What matter is China's presence can help those weapon buyer countries to bargain with US for their outrageous price tag.

Turkey, for instance, has bid for the new SAM, and China has offered its HQ-9 SAM about half price of the PAC-3.

Even Turkey wouldn't eventually buy the HQ-9, but this will help them to bargain with US and to slash down the outrageous price tag of the PAC-3.

China is always against the monopoly as the standard business practice, and we should have the spirit of competition.

Indeed, we always remember the friendship of KSA.

During the earthquake of 2008, KSA along with Pakistan are one of the few countries which have offered tremendous help for our country, this great kindness should be always remembered by the Chinese people.

I have our Ningxia autonomous region as the cultural exchange and tourist destination for the Muslim/Middle East nations to promote our friendship.

Hopefully this place can make our Arab friends to feel like home.

Good point. Later the United States will learn from it. Dont forget Whenever the Chineses test a new aircraft of their own ,they US-led media propaganda accuses China of stealing American technologies. Childish

^^ Guess who attended the meeting.. High rank officers from the Royal Saudi Strategic Missile Force. :hang2:

Yeah, it is obvious now that this deal is 99% about the ballistic missile, and it also seems this deal is going pretty well.

They will have a special type of 6-axle TEL for Saudi's DF-25, which is more adaptable for KSA's desert environment.

The new TEL will have the excellent camouflage/stealth and maneuverability running on the desert.

The arms deal is always a very profitable business, but if you want to seek a long term partnership with others, then you better make it win-win situation for both side, which is to sell your weapons at a more reasonable price.

By doing so, this would more or less guarantee more arms deals ahead. My point is this, the West MUST realize that China is a key player on the international stage. Instead of their countless attempts to isolate China ,they should focuse on their economy.

They don't have manner to respect others, there is nothing that we can do about it.

If they believe that bring down China can help their own economy, then they are deadly wrong.

The main reason about the decline of the West is those lazy spoiled kids with arrogant attitude, they were born with a silver spoon, while the Chinese kids have still been haunted by the memory the humiliation of the past generations, therefore we have to work harder, otherwise we will get invaded and humiliated again.

Maybe the West hasn't realized their difference with China.

.
Seriously! No one can put China in par with the West. The Chinese Revolution ,independence, and liberation are perhaps one of the greatest incidents in our modern history. You folks built your country from scratch to nuclear :D
I have always felt sympathic to people of China :enjoy: for what you have gone through.

No one in this world is perfect, we can admit our own flaws, but we will still try to correct it.

With the attitude which can't see its own flaws, while love to constantly meddle others' business is not what we want to be.

This is what I admire about Chinese foreign policy. I don't see political meddling in areas that are far outside of your traditional reach/sphere of historical interest. Yeah, you have many concerns about Chinese investments in Africa from Western-backed media and some locals who compare about cheap Chinese products who outsource the local products but I don't see a cultural conquest. China is a superpower and a aspiring world superpower. Their main interest is obviously that of their own and business like any other country worth mentioning. So in that department you are not any different. But in terms of logical policies then you are far ahead of USA and in particular Russia.

At the same time I have no reason to hate the West or USA but I can't say that I am always impressed by their foreign policy in our region. Not sure that the Chinese would have allowed the same mess to happen.

But we will have to see. For now I warmly welcome a stronger Arab-Chinese cooperation. And that of the Muslim world.

my friend this thing is an Iranian made thing(Persian poetry on it).sounds like you have coppy-pasted that from an Iran-China friendship thread:azn:

Ningxia is mainly populated with Hui Chinese, since Huis have a lot of Iranian blood, it clearly has a lot of Iranian influence.

I think the nuclearization of Middle East is inevitable after the decline of the US, this will also push Iran to develop its own nuclear arsenal.
