Lol i am talking about the Scientific & Industrial achievements of your country I.e what have you achieved in 44 years of independence (1971-2015) HDI is nothing unless it is built on a proper base

So having an extra 5 years of life expectancy with 24 years less independence counts for nothing???

BD is building up it's industrial base in areas like shipbuilding, pharmaceuticals, light engineering and electronics. Just recently BD has made it's own indigenous motorcycle engine and will target car engines over the next decade.

India is not exactly a country to look up to but rather look down upon taking into account it's state after nearly 7 decades of independence

Look at the progress that BD is making despite starting in 1971 and
needing an additional decade to recover from the civil war of 71.

If the only goal was to maximize the resources available, there wouldn't have been any need to divide the sub-continent! United India had the best synergy of manpower and resources available to make it easily one of the top 2 biggest economies in the world! But then, you guys were not interested in that, did you?

Why complain now?

Isn't that a hypocrisy that you guys harbor dreams of annexing Indian NE (which is not even disputed) while OTOH accusing India of illegally occupying Kashmir/Sikkim and in general being an expansionist power?


What is truly disappointing about your statement is its timing. Just when India gave up tens of thousands of acres of its own land to settle the border with a much smaller neighbor, you guys are not satisfied, are you?
