Worsening US-Saudi relations

USA went as far as to liberate Kuwait from Iraq and neutralize its threat to KSA.
to be fair it was them who created the threat in the first place. that fat American woman whose name escapes me at the moment, told sadman hussain --when he complained about kuwait stealing his oil or some such thing -- do whatever you need to, your inter-arab fights don't concern us. which the dipstick interpreted as the greenlight to take kuwait

Over the past two years, Saudi Arabia has sold more than $700 billion assets in the USA and US bonds.
Now the USA has issued too much currency($3 trillion), inflation is very high, and the sales of US bonds are not good. Major countries such as China, France, Germany and Russia (except Japan) are selling U.S. bonds.
Therefore, I think this is the USA asking Saudi Arabia to help buy some US bonds.
Relations between the USA and Saudi Arabia often deteriorate, but they will soon recover every time. It's the same this time.
Changes in relations between the USA and Saudi Arabia usually have nothing to do with China. The USA does not care about Saudi Arabia's exchanges with China(Because China's influence in the Middle East is close to zero).
Don't forget, Saudi Arabia has DF3. DF3 is an ICBM. Without the acquiescence of the USA and Russia, China dare not sell weapons of this level.
Saudi Arabia can get the support of the United States, China, Russia and Europe at the same time, which is enough to show that Saudi Arabia's influence is very strong. I don't think there will be any crisis in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia is the most powerful country in the Middle East. Its strength actually exceeds that of Iran and Israel.

It is even said that Saudi Arabia obtained nuclear warheads from Pakistan
where is it said and by whom (or is it by who? dunno)? please either provide references or delete this line

Sorry, I deleted it. I have heard similar news from Baidu Post Bar and other sources in China. This kind of news has no confirmation. I shouldn't use it easily.
You can delete 33# as soon as possible.

If you ever want to see how US uses and disposes off her allies after using, Saudi Arabia is biggest example. US forced Saudi Arabia to recognise Israel, as soon as that happened US abandoned Saudis. I remember how Saudis were forcing Pakistan to talk to Israel, which Pakistan resisted and even repaid US Billion 1 Dollars at the time. Also because of Indian pressure on US , Saudis didnt help Pakistan, rather created obstacles at OIC when India illegally and unilaterally removed article 370.

Now Saudis are all alone. In this ever changing multi polar world, just having money is not enough. India should learn this quickly or else we know what would happen in the end.

We should bring them back into the fold even if it means turning over backwards so be it. We need a dependable ally and every victory for Pakistan is a loss to the Indians

Saudi FM is visiting India, BTW. Russian, Tajik, and Iranian FMs would also be there at the same or different times. The growing bonhomie between the Saudis and Russians is not good for us. Russia has started signaling unease with the situation in Afghanistan. The same old bloc is emerging that does not share our vision for Afghanistan. This time Saudis can be roped in it as well. Their aloofness from the situation in Afghanistan (not sending aid even) shows they are looking to side with spoilers vis a vis Afghanistan. Qatar's leadership role has not sat well with them. They are only themselves to be blamed: themselves and that MBS. Taliban once used to be in the hands of KSA. MBS has dismantled Saudi influence in many theatres. He is willing to live with Iranian ascendancy after eating a humble pie (backdoor negotiations and public placatory statements about Iran). Iran is still not done with him, and Houthis continue their bombing campaign against Aramco and Saudi cities. This is continuing at a time when the US is pulling out its AD batteries from KSA. Talk about axing own feet. Interesting to note here is also the fact that India-Saudi relations were ebbing mere months back when Modi demanded the Saudis to ease the crude supplies to fuel his economy's post covid recovery, and the Saudis stuck to their guns (it was then IK and MBS had those telephone calls and invitations to visit).

thank you, btw there is no need to delete my post now because yours and mine combined can be used to clarify that it is a fiction that was originally spread by indian journos. due to Saudi financial grants to Pakistan, Indians named Pakistani atomic program "islami bomb" it was then alleged to be co-owned

I will tell the truth of this matter to other Chinese people on China's domestic platform.

Geopolitical realities of different countries are not the same, and not a zero sum game. It is not easy to ditch a superpower at the first sign of friction.

US-Saudi tensions are nothing new to begin with:

USA used to be the largest exporter of oil from KSA but this dynamic changed due to American Shale Revolution. KSA is now looking forward to diversify its economic system under Muhammad Bin Salman.

KSA have problems with Iran and its proxies as well (virtually surrounded), and China is not eager to pick sides in this matter. USA made it possible for KSA to blunt Houthi attacks thus far. Saudi have very limited experience in warfare of its own.

KSA have dealings with many countries including Russia and China. Saudi are not stupid however; no country is sufficient substitute for the other in Saudi calculus. This is better.
I hope there is an alliance of Sunni Muslim Countries that will align with China.
Pakistan can be instrumental in this.

But pakistan should not break or destroy relations with KSA or even Iran and UAE . Istemaal Karo in ko, inkay pass pesa bohot hai.

Look at India how it use these foolish gulf states be it Iran or arabs.

If I'm not wrong KSA led Arab voted against Pakistan in FATF.

Actually, you are VERY wrong.

Go through the archives of Feb 2018 on this forum to understand what happened. The following
summarized sequence of events are from those archives, as well as news published in Dawn, here:

1. There was a plenary session of FATF on 20 Feb 18 that did not mention Pakistan as a "Jurisdiction with strategic anti-money laundering / countering the financing of terrorism deficiencies" (FATF-speak for grey list inclusion). Dawn states that "An earlier discussion on the motion, held on Tuesday, saw opposition from China, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, causing the motion to fail."

2. The US representative called an extraordinary second vote on 22 Feb 18, after having had a "quiet word" with the KSA representative, after which KSA "decided" (i.e. was forced) to remain neutral. At this point, China's vote in favor of Pakistan would not have made a difference, thus China also stayed neutral. Dawn's report states that "the US succeeded in calling a second vote on Thursday night for its motion to ‘grey list’ Pakistan at the FATF plenary meeting during which China and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia changed their earlier stance by remaining silent. The only country left opposing the motion was Turkey,"

3. The Dawn report mentions explicity that "The US and the UK had jointly moved the FATF nominating Pakistan for placement on the “grey list” and were subsequently joined by France and Germany."

In other words, the reality is that the countries that showed enmity towards Pakistan by grey-listing it were, in order: the USA, the UK, France and Germany. But of course, it is easy for some here to parrot the narrative that KSA and "them Arabs" are the enemy.

Look at India how it use these foolish gulf states be it Iran or arabs.

India's Chanakya doctrine requires it to ensure that Pakistan's historically fraternal bonds with Iran and the Arab world are destroyed. Going by the knee-jerk emotional reaction of certain people on this forum (they know who they are) to any fake news that falsely accuses Iran/Arabs as being anti-Pakistan, the Indians are succeeding beyond their wildest expectations.

And it continues to lead the vote against Pakistan in the FATF. That is why it important to keep relations but within the bounded context of KSA is now not what is used to be and cannot be trusted when push comes to shove.

The same applies to UAE aswell now.

Care to provide proof that KSA "continues to lead the vote against Pakistan"? The Foreign Office has categorically rejected this accusation, see here.

The UAE does not have an independent vote at FATF, as it is represented by the GCC as a whole. See membership list here. The claim that the "same applies to UAE" says more about you than about the UAE.

The key take-away from the Dawn article is this: it was your country (the UK) that was the primary co-sponsor of Pakistan's inclusion in the FATF grey list, along with the USA.

Perhaps you should reflect on that before toeing the line that Chanakya's disciples want you to ?
