Clearly Indian airports are doing much better than their Chinese counter parts 10 years ago. It was only after 2003, China could match India's statistics. Now STFU.

LOL china has increased our lead over india since 2000.

I get it everything you do you have to compare with India! :)

It is the other way round actually.

India Measures Itself Against a China That Doesn’t Notice - New York Times

By VIKAS BAJAJ
Published: August 31, 2011

MUMBAI, India — It seems to be a national obsession in India: measuring the country’s economic development against China’s yardstick.

At a recent panel discussion to commemorate the 20th anniversary of India’s dismantling parts of its socialist economy, a government minister told business leaders to keep their eye on the big prize: growing faster than China.

“That’s not impossible,” said the minister, Palaniappan Chidambaram, who oversees national security and previously was finance minister. “People are beginning to talk about outpacing China.”

Indians, in fact, seem to talk endlessly about all things China, a neighbor with whom they have long had a prickly relationship, but which is also one of the few other economies that has had 8 percent or more annual growth in recent years.

Indian newspapers are filled with articles comparing the two countries. Indian executives refer to China as a template for development. Government officials cite Beijing, variously as a threat, partner or role model.

But if keeping up with the Wangs is India’s economic motive force, the rivalry seems to be largely one-sided. Indians are obsessed with China, but the Chinese are paying too little attention to India.

kid we have nothing to learn from india, absolutely nothing.

comparing china with india is like comparing china with africa.
if we compare with india, we are going backwards 40 years.

india is 40 years behind china.

chinese media never mentions india, its always the US we are compared with.
the western media compares china with the US far more than the chinese media does.

china does its thing and we develop rapidly, the world just talks about our success as we are along with the US among the 2 most important countries on this planet.

we never asked for attention like india wants, we just minded our own business and went about our daily lives, the attention came looking for us, we didnt go seeking for attention like butthurt indians do.

It is an article from the New York Times, that appeared in the print edition of the newspaper.

Don't be lazy, it says it right there on the page. I'll quote it here:

A version of this article appeared in print on September 1, 2011, on page B1 of the New York edition with the headline: A One-Sided Rivalry.

As you can clearly see, India is not even mentioned. Nobody in China cares about India, the only reason we reply to you on this forum, is because you guys love to bash us all the time.

quoted for truth.

the bolded part pretty much sums up the contact chinese and indians have on this forum, its only because indians come to chinese section or chinese threads and spew their anger, frustration and hate towards china. if indians didnt come to our threads and section, chinese couldnt give a rats arse about india or indians.
thats just the blunt truth.

chinese couldnt give a damn about indian developments, honestly, i rarely ever even go to the indian section, simply because quite frankly nothing in india interests me, i know whatever india develops, china is much further ahead.

for example, when we develop our own turbofan engines (ws-10), you indians cannot handle the fact that china became self-sufficient in that area. it hurts your ego so much.
indians therefore out of hate and frustration post BS articles to antagonise chinese members.
then we fire back.

just like in 1962, you are the aggressor, china defends our position and spanks you.
rinse and repeat that process in pretty much everything.
