This is good news I never liked cigarettes though my father and his father were heavy chain smokers.

I have to say that at least politicians finally got away from the Tobacco lobby and did the correct thing of basically treating smokers as lepers.

Banning cigarette machines, cigarettes sold on store shelves, cigarette ads on tv, actors smoking on tv, on planes, government buildings, restaurants, etc.

But sadly what I noticed immediately with one of my first corporate jobs in 1992 was that the white collar workers were eating in the lunch room while the blue collar workers were outside gathered around the rear doors smoking.

It looks like the message only got across to certain classes.

That's a very good trend!
I do not smoke and also avoid places with smoke e.g. pub/disco. Once you visit the stink stays on you for a week even after multiple showers.

There is nothing good about it!

ok 12% doesn't automatically make the map red for the US now does it. There's no evidence that the tobacco usage decrease has caused a corresponding marijuana usage increase.
