What's new

World INDIA is derived from Indus a Pakistani river, you shld rename India :Fawad Hussain ‏

Firstly, it is Word NOT World... #marasipoliticians seeking attention....

Secondly, where were these #marasipoliticians when indians are still illegally holding Our National Heritage

If these people don't have the courage then they should just keep their mouths quiet.

The word Hind is persian describing lands beyond Sind i.e. Wadi-e-Sind or commonly known as Indus Valley Civilisation.

Our Civilisation is one of the oldest, perhaps the oldest in terms of sophistication.

But we as Paks love to see our Heritage stolen in broad daylight... this process is continuing even today...

Remember that BJP candidate who stole our national song that #DGISPR had to remind these people of theft.

The truth is also the FACT that part of our civilisational lands is indian occupation today.

Pakistan is the Heartland of Civilisation... we are older than Sumer or Persia... these came much later.

It is important that Young Paks remember that Budhism in China- hence the rest of the world - was spread by ancient Paks.

Sikhism rose from Pak. Even Mahbarata played out in Our Land, Pakistan. Loh became Lahore a few thousdand years later... and many more cities. @RIWWIR

Peshawar, Multan, Sialkot and many more towns and cities are thousands of years old... Young Paks own your Civilisation. Claim it back!.

The Heartland naturally became present day Pakistan...but in terms of Civlisational Land... parts of Our Land is still occupied by indians...

Regarding the name of persian hind... whatever the residents of this other land wish to call itself is upto them. We should only focus on ourselves.

Furthermore, I stronly protest if some Paks insult hindus...

Remember without Sindu there is no Hindu... i.e It is Wadi-e-Sind (from Kashmir to Gawadar) has given the world hindu... but this is a different discussion...how we moved down to then forestdewellers of present day india and established our ancient rule...

For now let us just live and let live...

Our sole responsibility here on PDF is to protect Pak and Pak Civilisation from attack of any kind from the residents of lands to our east.

@Indus Pakistan @CHACHA"G" @zulu
Well, we have our likes and dislikes but on this I totally agree with him and it is very good that he openly expressed it and it is totally against what PMLn has been preaching (the political orphans of ghunda league will now come after me)

Also, there is an excellent book "The Indus Saga and the Making of Pakistan" by Aitzaz Ahsun... which documents the history of the subcontinent since before Mohenjo Darro and according this book , out of six thousand years of documented history, less than 500 years approximate areas of coterminous Pakistan and India were under the same rule that includes the rule by multiple Muslim dynasties, 90 years of the British, and some ancient kings from Persia, etc.. so more than 92% of the documented history, those were totally separate entities ...
@Indus Pakistan , you will love the book by Aitzaz Ahsun "The Indus Saga and the Making of Pakistan"

Unfortunately the state in Pakistan has been peddling the one domentional but global religion as the unifying element ~ Islam. Ignoring that there are 1.7 billion Muslims and 50 odd Muslim countries. All your doing is investing in a trans-national religion as a identity and then expect to shoehorn that into a unique geography called Pakistan ehich is of course perverse. That would be like me trying to own the air as mine and use that as my identity ignoring that it, air is everywhere. It ain't mine exclusively.

That of course is another story ...

Already read it. It was the book that made me a "Indus Man".

See India is not homogeneous, it’s just too big. Defining India as only Ganga basin or only north India is foolish and immature.
India is also very ancient with its influence far exceeding its current borders. So indirectly we claim the custodianship of entire South Asia, this includes Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh etc... it may also include parts of Afghanistan, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia etc..

So what I wanted to convey to my Pakistani members is that Nazia Hassan is ours...!:taz::devil:

Pakistan should rename tself Indus ...
Pakistan can have 2 names..
Islamic Republic of Pakistan
And Indus.
Just like India has India and hindustan..

And this is quite common in most countries. Turkey has major crack in south east where Kurds who are actually closer to Pakhtuns are dominant or in Iran which often is regarded as very homogenous [far from it] have Turkic Azerbaijanis in the north west or Afghanistan which has Mongol Hazara shia in the centre with Turkic Uzbeks and Persian Tajiks to north etc. This is just a abbreviated rendition. We all know about the USA don't we? Black, white, brown, blue, yellow, red, pink and every other permutation you can think of. And beyond the 0.01% all the rest are immigrants.
Kurds have no connection with phustoons.
Anyways welcome back..

It is not your fault.

Don't know why pakistanis always try to differentiate themselves from us indians and funny thing is they take pride in that , as if it is something rare . People everywhere are different . Differences occur because people around the world have evolved under different environmental conditions . Because of this there will always be differences in terms of height , facial features , skin color etc .

That's not the reason we separated from you .The religion played a big role and people in every part of the World are different in look ,height and body shape.

And you are in inferiority complex that you think Pakistanis are religiously and culturally same as Indians .You should be proud of your culture and heritage not dragging others into your Culture .

when did i say that ? when did i say indians and pakistanis are similar ? kuch bhi ! i just found it funny how pakistanis try to make it sound as if their differences from indians is something rare , or unheard off , as if genetic/cultural variations in people of pakistan is because of some kind of devine intervention . When infact it is very very common . period

I do not understand the fuss about names. boundaries of countries changed all the time in the past. Prussia was central to the German identity. Yet there is no trace of Prussia in the modern Germany or that matter anywhere in the world. Most of the countries in the United Nations has relatively short timelines

In UK, USA, Australia, NZ Pakistanis are clubbed together with Indians. You might be different. You have similarities with Indians than any other ethnic group. That is the way outsiders look at you

How and why did places in far away US like Indiana get named & terms like ‘American Indians’ or Red Indians first get used? Surely India the country should disassociate from that and use a more indigenous name. That is why other countries like Thailand & Iran stopped using foreign derived names like Siam & Persia.
Siam is the indigenous name. Thailand is the westernized one.

And India has two official names - Republic of India in English and Bharat Ganrajya in Sanskrit
