World Exclusive JF-17 and Rafale in Joint Exercise

Must have been a great exercise to size up the radar signature, agility and overall capabilityof the rafale. The radar cross section and heat signatures must have been updated in the threat library of JF-17 in an ultra High Definition mode. This exercise would go a long way in laying down tactics to tackle rafale in the future.

Let's not forget JF-17's RCS and heat sigs would be captured by Rafales as well, and as per agreement with Qatar, France will have access to mission data. Now can India access that..? Looking at the nature of French-India relationship, you can anticipate that. So... it is a double-edged sword.

This just shows the level of pettiness the Indians have, they think this may annoy Turkey.

Truth of the matter is Turkey can offer Pakistan a lot in terms of defence tech. Greece has absolutely zero to offer the Indians in terms of tech that they are not getting elswhere, all India can offer Greece is more immigrants. This is all for show.

Any Greek bases in Mid East? No
Any reguarlar Greek martime presence in Indian ocean? No
Greece making combat choppers and it;s own frigates? No

The best thing that may come from this is slightly cheaper olive oil deal....

Any professional air-force be it Qatari, Greek, Turkic, Pakistani or Indian will never show its true capability and tactics to even the allies during such exercises.. Hell even PAF will have Jf17s being participated while their radars on training mode so as not to revel the radar capabilities..
Although there can be little bit of snooping to get the IR signature and radar signature of certain platform, but to be honest these information w.r.t rafales and JFs would be already available with either of airforces..
Knowing a platform can help in planning or developing strategy against it. It does not mean that win can be ensured against that platform. And since PAF is a net centric force, it wont be a platform against another platform of IAF.. There were will be use of different platforms as a single force against either of adversaries..

So my takeaway is that PAF has got good a feel of Rafales where in they must have evaluated capabilities of the platform and as they return to their home bases, the combat school will devise a strategy to respond against it.

The Singapore AF, f 16 are permanently stationed in India, as Singapore is a very small country and lacks the airspace to train its pilots. So India fills that role.
India carries out regular exercises with SAF and even has a pilot exchange program.
But In spite of knowing so much about the f 16. PAF f 16 wiped the floor with iaf ac on feb 26.

when the PAF wiped the floor with iaf ac on Feb 27th, let's face it, the mops were indian pilots...even their "strategic partners" whose aim is to train & strengthen them against the PAF & the PLAAF have had nothing but contempt for the iaf pilots.

And there were occasions that the Americans wouldn't allow the Chinese military attaché wonder near the F-16 let alone sit in it, they were disturbed at the fact that the Chinese officer was using his finger to asses the size and measurements of the F-16 HUD.
Why did Americans had strict objections to UAE hiring PAF pilots to man it's Block-60s.....surely PAF pilots weren't exactly going to remove some gadgets from those jets.
