World Economy As Seen From Space

The OP graph on India is faked!

- or shall I say deliberately arranged vís-a-vís others in order to achieve a centain effect somehow.

The reason is simple - it defies logic and some well-known facts:

1. more than 1/3 of India is in stone-age - has never seen electricity ( a fact from the UN) - it's not shown in the graph.

2. On the contrary it shows that India even had larger lighted area and lighter than East, Middle and South China putting together (actually graph of India was even brighter than Mid and West coast USA putting together), which has electricity usage percap about 6 or 8 times more than India. China's southern industrial hub and night life hub - heavily populated Canton - looked like a half-desert compared to India. The graphs gives a very misleading signal. That is unbelievable as it 's against against some well-established facts. "Population density" alone can not explain this.

3. India has average GDP/cap lower than Africa, and roughly similar population and electricity usage/person as Africa. Yet why so much lightness differences between the two? - another loophole here.

4. Both Thailand and Vietnam have GDP/cap higher than India, and with similar population density. Thailand and Vietnam both have electricity coverage far higher than India. And Thai/Viet, due to cultural and climate reasons, both have far more vibrant night lives than India as generally known to travellers. Yet it is obvious from the the graphs on India VsThailand/Vietnam is like USA Vs Africa, almost completely dark in Thailand /Vietnam. This is just bullsh!t!

5. the single 3 largest and brightest areas were : Western EU, Eastern USA and India - one doesn't need to reach 85 IQ to see that is so fake!

6. the south borders of the Hymalayas - the northern part of India and South Tibet were brighter and much more densely lit than the entire South China - the industrial/manufacture hub of China and the world! Are the author/s of the graphs the same ones as those who made Youtube vid where the Whites serving India in 2035? because they seem to share the similar mentalities.

... there're many other discrepancies as well.

Hence, for one reason or another, the OP graphs, and/or the original source of them, have been badly tempered by some people to serve a certain purpose.

more on this:

one of the easiest tricks to temper the graphs is -

deliberately
choose different timings for different regions, to take advantages of differences on time zones (many even on seasons as well), day-light saving schemes that some countries are adapting, and regional cultural norm differences, etc to reach some misconceptions that the authors of the graphs want to propagate.

Yet either way no matter how one chooses different times, that almost entire India was very brightly and densely lit like a shopping mall Christmas tree at any particular time is just impossible, except that some obvious photoshopping was applied.

I think you need to get your head examined. Why the fuk should Night Satellite Photos | Earth, U.S., Europe, World | Geology.com fake India's images?

Your a$$ seems to be on the boil. Grow up and stop your silly conspiracy theories.

Obviously you have low iq and can not see the logic and facts.

It is impossbile to have a lit world map at night in one piece without man-made tempering, simplely due to the fact the world has time zones (and many countries have Summer-Winter daylight saving scheme as well). e.g. 9pm New Delhi Time is probabaly still ok for many Indians to be awake while almost half of Eastern China would be sleeping, together with all the most cities in Western China such as Lhasa, etc, because the entire China follows the same time zone.

The world map at night is made by a combination of different time zones in different seasons (North-South hemispheres). The map is heavily tempered in many areas, for one reason or another. There are many big discrepancies , particularly in areas of India, South East Asia and China, as I mentioned earlier that you low IQers just can not find counters but resorting to ad hominem attacks.

:woot: 'Tampered for one reason or another'? Really? :laughcry:And what pray would be the reasons? Do let us know.

And why would the government take the trouble of tampering their own official government website? Funny!

I'm sure you have a friendly neighborhood shrink. Do make an appointment with him. The sooner the better.

Right next to india to the north east vast portion of it is dark. Isn't that china ?
Why is it in darkness ?

India looks 100% lightened up, while china looks around 30-40% lightened up. Why is it so ?

60% of China is desert. Most of the Chinese population reside on its east coast

. .
It means there is no city or villages in central china???

India has one of the highest population densities in the world.. Especially for a large country so it's no surprise what the satellite view shows

China not so much and has vast areas with low population

Population density by habitable area is a better measure since people cannot live in deserts or on mountains or on glaciers. By habitable area, China has 943 people per sq km while India has 753 people per sq km

Yep.. China has huge inhabitable ares given it's size.. North, North West, South Western and Tibetan plateau in China are sparsely habitated.. Almost all of their population centers are concentrated on the coast for obvious reasons, It's geography dictates that

I think India has a larger percentage of arable land as well.. So it's inevitable that it's population is more evenly spread, But given it's landmass is still smaller than China but the population is almost equal, I guess India still has one of the highest population densities out there, And as i said especially considering it's size

China has 15% of all its land arable, while India has 50%. All most all of China fertile land lies on its north east region. Yes, India is one of the densest populated country in the world.

Ideally India should be the bread basket of the world with nearly half of it's large landmass being fertile !!!

This graph is borderline absurd, and misleading too!

Mind you that population density of different areas of a country is NOT the same.

So why the the same country maked in the same colour then?

Do you think the industrial & nightlife hub of South China is more populated, or South Tibet, so the southern tip of the Hymalayas Moutain is more populated?

Then how come, according to those night graphs, that South Tibet and the southern tip of the Hymalayas Moutain were much more densely and brightly lit than South China??

:woot: 'Tampered for one reason or another'? Really? :laughcry:And what pray would be the reasons? Do let us know.

because those "official" source site is stupid!

it took different times from different time zones and seasons , and put them into 1 graph.

either way, the India graph was clearly photoshopped to some extend, because NO WAY entire Indian territory (including even moutains, etc) was more densely lit like 1 giant city than South and Eastern coasts of China and Thailand/Malaysia/Vietnam - this is soooooo fake!

Okey, you seriously developed an idiotic logical argument. One question, how Japan is so much lighting up?
