We need to start appreciating our celebrities, they go to the outside world, they obviously come from liberal households for them to be hosted in movies, so why is their attire a surprise? Most of them wear modern clothing in their own homes, we need to appreciate that people come from different households but that doesn't make them bad. Most of these people would love to dress like that if allowed, so turn bitter towards those who do have permits. Men are okay to watch Punjabi mujra style movies that have been in Pakistan for so long. But any woman in a skirt playing decent roles on screen and comes from a foreign country giving her Motherland recognition only to be abused by people is ridiculous.

Where was the outcry when skin tight kameezes and dhotis with long slits on bulky women dancing and rolling around was aired? But wearing sophisticated modern wear and carrying yourself in a classy manner is thrashed? *rolls eyes*

I have no objectection on what media is doing because i don't watch any mujras,dramas,or films.

I think you are not having courage like the other's that's way you are behaving like child. It's on the women how she live her life in foreign countries and you can't stop anyone to do his/her wishes.

Ok i checked her Instagram to see what collage post was referred to in first news report. Most of the comments there are about her looks, her hairstyle, her height being short and how she looks bad next to bilal ashraf. Thats why i wondered is she dating him. So she took offence to majority of those comments and chose to label it as attack on her religious and moral values.
may be she does not like it when people say she does not look good next to bilal ashraf.

Yesterday someone posted a tweet from her account where she said she is getting death threats, so i checked her twitter and all i saw her doing was fighting with followers whose comments felt bad to her.

Pashtun females do not use 'Khan' as surname, its male-only title when it comes to Pashtuns. She is using Khan as surname as her father is a Rajput and many Rajputs use Khan as surname (e.g Aamir Khan boxer). As i have already told you in another thread , "Khan" is not exactly indicator of Pashtun roots. Pashtuns and Balochs use Khan as middle name e.g Chakar Khan Rind, Khushal Khan Khattak.

I actually know an actress who is pushtoon from mothers side and she said uses khan because of her mom,, but her father is a punjabi or something else.
As of armeena i dont know exactly, but she has rana in her name which itself is a caste name. Rana khan as a surname is quite unheard of plus her mother is a pushtoon.

It is fashionable thing in showbiz industry to have Khan as surname or glue it to your name.(in armeenas case i do not know though)

i would have said people who find her vulgar must not join her instagram but then i know how things work in industry . An actress (any actress) who might be screaming at her twitter or instagram about how she is objectified would actually be doing to gain more PUBLICITY. In industry ANY PUBLICITY i repeat ANY publicity is good whether it comes through negative or positive route, it IS GOOD. It wins you more eyeballs and viewership.
