Yes islam is clear what one could wear or not and Islam is also clear noone can be forced to do a thing. And if you see a wrong tell them about it and unless it is something extremely obscene and breaking countries laws noone could impose their will on you. What is not allowed is like a woman walking in extremely scanty clothes on street or any man or women walking unclothed down the street. Even in west despite all liberalism there are lines drawns.

Neelam Munir is just neelam munir.

Even i thought she is just neelum munir but read her name as neelum munir khan at many places, then could be wrong.
Well many urban pushtoon women have khans in their surnames,i have not visited kpk and smaller towns, mostly limited to islamabad, pindi areas.

Majority of the unmarried females dont have Khan as last name in our province.....married women some times put full name of their husbands as last name e.g Bibi Neelam marrying Humayun Khan becomes Neelam Humayun Khan after marriage. It seems some girls of new generation in some areas have also started using Khan as last name in the fashion of non-Pashtuns, but in my area, you wont find any unmarried girl with Khan as surname.

Yes from kpk rural background you will find bibi surnames like ulfat bibi, bibi shireen but urban pushtoons have given khan surnames to their daughters. Even i have noted these differences but never gave it much thought.

Marina Khan's father was Urdupeaker/Mohajir who was posted in Peshawar when she was born. Mother is/was English. Neelam Munir is just Neelam Munir as pointed out.....

When you want to give examples of Pashtun females then give it from KP, FATA and Balochistan, not Islamabad. Maria Toorpakay, Malala Yousafzai, Nighat Orakzai, Bushra Gohar etc ........In old times some Pashtun women were using "Khanam" as last name which is feminine form of Khan
