well, heaven and hell are stories to induce people into behaving according to the mores of various theologies... i haven't met anyone who has returned from either place nor has anyone in rational recorded history, unless we know of someone like the lord marshal from the 'chronicles of riddick' film who has been "there and back" and is now a "half-man and half something else".

I dont believe in heaven and hell, and if i had to choose between them then I will choose hell for sure. heaven will boringggg.

the closest i can relate to your idea ( from my previous readings ) is 'mind uploading'[1] :

i don't like above idea but it is forwarded by "futurists" like michael anissimov[2] now associated with 'lifeboat foundation' which i find a anti-socialist anti-islam nato site... most fans of 'mind uploading' don't want to live in the physical universe and dislike space travel calling it dangerous and all... they say any event or place can be generated within the simulation, either by the minds themselves or by external agency... but i prefer to live in the physical universe.

i mentioned this only because of remembering it and connecting in my way to what you said but what you said can be greatly something else... you did not bring technology into your idea.

i think heaven is boring because of how it is unnaturally presented in theology, books and films... but heaven can be recreated on earth through a proper political/social system and it won't be boring at all.

Very well said my wife ruined my new SUV in Montreal last year....

I ruined my mothers brand new car after picking it up from the car dealer.
I did it by parking the car in the city, and then a woman backed into the car
as she was trying to exit the parking place on the other side of the two lane road.
Result was that the left front door was smashed.

Apparently she needed like 30-40 meters turning radius...
