Women to lead Indian Army Units

We as a society are simply not ready for this,,,,it will get messy.
People will(some) slam my post but its the truth,,,,,i think the officers will have some problem in dealing with people from north india,,,,,the society is such here that it will be a shock for many jawans to have a female boss

It's not society, it's ability. If you have a 5'9 gorilla getting orders from a 5'2 lady who is too frail for combat, she will be treated with disrespect, even sexually assaulted. The posts to be opened up are minor battalions for air traffic control and public works (civic construction).

I present the same question to you, have you served? Do you know that in a combat situation you have to have an utter trust in the abilities of the person next to you? How can you do that if you know that person didn't have to go through as rigorous a training as you, or was nearly as physically capable.

Unfortunately I did not serve. Never have I made any claim to such. That being said, I know people who are serving...so I have a fair idea about what goes in.
As for women, it doesnt matter who is next to you in any given situation. It all boils down to training. Its a job, just like any other. In your particular case, if the lady had been properly trained,i have no doubt she would have whopped your scrawny behind in a matter of mins....

If I was trained too, the same thing as per my previous post, would have occurred.

They NEVER patrol the dangerous patches. Only the "safe zones". No woman can do the job as needed. Hence we need limits. This is a tactical gesture not a mindset. IA is one of the most liberal minded organistations otherwise.

THIS IS ABOUT ABILITY NOT POLITICAL CORRECTNESS. Simple fact if you are paying someone to do a job and they can't perform as well, they are NOT WORTH IT.

BSF patrols everwwhere but the ladies only in the lower risk patches. In Israel only 1 unit of females and males are there for combat. They act as a border patrolling unit in relatively safe zones.

They can't be soldiers simple. You are comparing apples to oranges. Every job is different. No amount of training can bridge the gap between a man's strength and a woman's weakness. Thats why you have a violence against women act.
