Actually this is because of societal upbringing and I am not alluding it in a pejorative way. People in polychronic cultures view time as contiguous and cyclic. That's why they don't compartmentalise their time and end up multi-tasking.

It is also a reason why analog wall clock designs are more popular in countries say South Asia but Digital and Square shaped clock designs are more popular in Britain and Germany etc.

you are over-thinking india. :-)

in india, people are on time for job interviews or any place where they are socially/economically lower-ranking... for others, they may not be on time, depending on the attitude of the goer.

while the australian lady should not have swear words, it is ridiculous to assume that she should have asked permission from the offending car owner.

It's not about sticking to time. It's about compartmentalising it. Eg. Most Indians would never end his/her meeting on time. This might create authority issues when junior team members from say britain would start leaving the meeting since they have to jump to another scheduled call. If you work in a cross-cultural setting you would appreciate how team divisions are clashes can happen over minor differences in handling things.

Hi,

I don't speak Gibberish. So kindly keep the medium of communication in Plain English

Learn to use punctuation marks !

Secondly, pointing out the flaws in arabs makes me Western Muppet? Is that one of your logic? :cuckoo:

By that logic, defending them wrongly will make you their slave

learn to read first, before opening your BIG MOUTH

You know, that's a very interesting thought. Never thought i'd learn something on PDF but here you are!

OT. this is a travesty. People who say: their country, their laws, are missing the point - it is not illegal in Abu Dhabi to post a picture of a car, particularly where the lady has blacked out the number plates. It is against the rules to double park on disabled bays though.

This is not a case of someone breaking a weird local law, its a case of discrimination. In AD if an Arab does wrong, it is a crime if you point it out?
