Most of their productions, even innocent-looking ones, contain at least one scene or a dialogue that is politically-charged, racist or insulting to other nations, making/generating bad stereotypes about others, generating enemies and, vilifying and bad-mouthing real-world rival nations.

You should have just let them think whatever they wanted. If they thing WW2 can unseat Hollywood (or in his own word, replace) then you should let them think like that lol. Even tho > 99 % of the 770 millions box office is generated within China.

Hollywood and World Audience is very different than China, there is a reason why this movie has made near 770 millions in China and it virtually no one heard of it outside China. WW2 is just like Germany's Mein Kempf moment. Yes, it was sold literally to every German Household (5 millions plus copy) before WW2 when Hilter is in charge, that does not mean the book is in any way good or even make sense. And its popularity world wide is little and it changes little in world's geopolitics. The only different between WW2 and Mein Kempf is that, there are still popularity with Mein Kampf today (Not in a good way) worldwide, usually using it as a reference to the history we don't really want to talk about, and WW2 is literally still unknown worldwide

And if this is how Chinese Film Production target Hollywood, I would say Hollywood should have nothing to worry about..

THis is a bit off topic, but you do know most Native American were killed when there wasn't even a country called United States of America, right? Go to any reservation in CONUS, you will see and hear story about how the British and the Spanish kills their ancestor, in fact, when the revolutionary American fought the Brits in Revolutionary War, Indian, majority of them are on the revolutionary America side, which is the forefather of modern day USA.
