Without the muhajirs, Pakistan would not exist

.
That's true, they are more so than others. Probably a large contributory factor is that Karachi was and always has been at the epicentre of the Pakistani economy, cultural identity and a mixing pot for anything and everything Pakistani. Karachi was also very cosmopolitan and very liberal/modern back in the day.

"was" ?

punjabis got their lands they left in india back, please tell me you don't know this?

Yeah - And don't you know that for the fertile land they left behind, they were given lands were they had to work their a$$es out for years to clean the bushes and make them cultivatable. And those allotments were also not free, though price were very low but for most of people who came empty handed those were not affordable, on top of that demand of bribe.

basicly its a non issue?

punjabi got their lands ? oh really????? they didnt even get half of what they lost in eastern punjab..i can give you several examples... i have several frnds whose forefathers migrated from eastern punjab ... left hundreds of acers of land n got 5 acres in the desert of layyah.. and even for that they had to produce original documents proving they owned land in eastern punjab along with other nonsense.. i doubt many if most even had anything other than the clothes they wore.

Very few people were able to get some lands for producing documents of land in India as people were worried about their lives not the land documents. Even if some had were not given even 1/10th of land they had in east Punjab. Most of the land was later allotted but those allotments were not free.

feudals thought their interest was to support ML, or they would lose their monopoly in india

go read a book before posting your agnorant comments... n get out of your victim mentality.

n they had to struggle for years for those aswell....

Without Unionist Party of Punjab's support for Muslim league, there wouldn't have been any Pakistan to begin with or at max east Bengal would have been separated - And it's Punjabis who paid most price for supporting division.

Bhai not only that; check these sources out :

Weekend Reading: Who Voted For Partition? | Retributions

Cambridge Journals Online - Modern Asian Studies - Abstract - The 1946 Punjab Elections

-- Schwartzberg Atlas -- Digital South Asia Library

So in essence the Muslim League won 75 out of the 86 Muslim Seats in Punjab thats about 87% !

And it won 43% of the total seats in Punjab at 75 out of 175 with the rest being taken by the Congress, the Unionists and the Sikh Parties; not bad eh ?

Which means we voted for the Quaid and Pakistan & we don't need some condescending prick who wishes to call himself an Immigrant long after the country was created to tell us that we didn't play any major part in the Pakistan Movement !

.
lol ML got defeated from thi party in 1937 and they consisted of feudals thanks to them we are gifted with feudalism in pakistan

That's right ML got defeated badly from Unionist Party in 1937 - and in 1946 it was the support of same unionist party which made ML powerful enough to carve Pakistan.

Nahin bhai we those were just ML seats...not the Unionist included and the ML still managed to win 87% of all Muslim Seats in the Punjab ! :)
