Withdrawal of Chinese troops in Gogra and Hot Springs complete, Pangong next

LAC is not a border. u r picturing it as such.

i repeat: the LAC is not a border. do u even know what 'LAC" stands for? LAC is subject to constant shifting- the stronger party takes all, the weaker 1 loses(n resorts to telling lies on the internet)

Rubbish.

LAC is based on the McMohan Line which is also your official border with Burma.

There is very little dispute in Ladak over where it falls. The bigger dispute is over Arunachal pradesh where you claim the whole state as south Tibet.

There are 3 agreements that define the LAC. The 1993 agreement, 1996 agreement and the 2013 agreement. And there is a mechanism in these agreements to handle alignment of LAC an that is by "joint checks".

Chinese action are in violation of these agreements and hence Indian's strong response.

For starters, India has to move back considerably from the perceived Line of Actual Control (LAC), which had been the de facto border ever since China captured large swathes of territory in the 1962 war. Worryingly, as multiple Indian army and intelligence sources have pointed out, the LAC is now all set to become a hot border like the Line of Control (LoC) with Pakistan in the Jammu & Kashmir sector.

What has surprised many military commanders is that the Indian leadership agreed to China’s terms. A key loss is Patrolling Point 14 (PP 14), where a major clash took place on June 15 that claimed the lives of one Indian Army officer and 19 soldiers. An indeterminate number of Chinese soldiers are believed to have been killed in the clash, but no proof of that has emerged so far. This means the Indian Army and ITBP will move considerably back in the Galwan Valley sector. A similar position has been taken at PP 17A and on the mountain ridges known as Finger 2 to 8: India will no longer be allowed to move ahead either.

Effectively, China has managed to push back India’s LAC further back and taken ground that was earlier in India’s possession.

@Mighty Lion :D

Wrong even as per anti Modi Ajai Shukla the most forward Chinese position is 0.5 km away from Indian LAC (actual number is much higher as Ajai Shukla is known to exaggerate Chinese activities and falsify info) which means no Chinese troops inside Indian territory.

Your rants are making less sense with each passing day.

I don't see any mention of Ajay Sukla or Ajay of any kind in the article in reference.

Except for Patrol Point 14, China never took over our land.

They just sat on the LAC which was unacceptable and amounted to unilaterally changing the status quo.

The RED LINE on the Map is the LAC.

THIS was the position of the PLA troops.

They were SITTING ON THE LAC and that was the problem.

They did not cross the LAC. Except in the Galwan valley.

LOL is that why you retreated on your own territory and allowed PLA to remain on your territory?

LOL. What ? :cheesy:

India claim is till Finger 8 but the LAC is till finger 4.

Its all pretty straight forward.

I have shown the LAC on the Map , it is marked in RED. Where is the confusion ?

you must be a Modi adviser. Change the line on the ground to make India look better. A win win scenario for everyone.

If India is not losing any land, why is India banning Tik Tok.

Because India has finally realized that China cannot be trusted and any move to accommodate them will be considered appeasement and will only increase their contempt for us.

It was the same mistake Nehru made , so now India has decided that if we cant be friends then let us be enemies who respect each other.
