Kurukshetra, Ambala and Panipat have Large number of Brahmins who are staunchly Haryanvi.

Major parts of North Haryana are Brahmin dominated due to migration of Brahmins from Mountains to pains fo economic reasons.

Hindu Jats are called JAATS.. Sikh Jats are called JATTS…Muslim Jats are called JUTTS...interesting.

Haryana and Western UP districts like Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Meerut, Saharnanpur are all linguistically and culturally similar to Haryana, ranging from dialect to folk songs. Haryana is a Jaat dominated state while West UP too have considerable number of Jaat community.


As far as Punjabi is concerned it is very much spoken in Haryana at present also. Cities like Karnal, Assandh, Panipat , Ambala, Pehowa, Kaithal and Jagadhari are pro Punjabi speaker belts and you will find majority of Jatt Sikh population there. But yes majority of haryanvis speaks Haryanavi , The belt from Bahadurgarh to Hisar speaks Haryanavi.

So Haryanvis are actually closer to Punjabis.

Actually the reaction Sidhu got in India after the Pakistan visit will serve as a stepping stone to getting some autonomy for Indian Punjab...it seems.

It will make sense to Sikhs for their reverence for holy birth place of Guru Nanak

The people currently living there were all sikhs, including mine own ancestors. We converted to Islam during late 19th century. So pick another line. That wont work.

Jokers shown on TV do act to be jokers, they aren't in real life. They are darn capable and competent in real life to act as jokers in reel life....as a matter of fact.

Navjot Sidhu is a minister of local bodies and culture and tourism in Indian Punjab and has held a lot of other portfolios as well in the Govt...so he is not someone to be overlooked and discarded calling him a joker...actually the Indians, not all of them proving to be one, sans mind, sans any common sense.
