With African market in the eye, JF-17 Thunder to roll in Morocco Air Show.

JF-17 Thunder fighter to land at Marrakech Air Show 2016 in Morocco to pitch this capability to the African market. Rumor has it that RMAF is also interested to acquire the latest Block of the JF-17 fighters to augment its F-16 fleet recently acquired from Lockheed Martin.

Jf-17 is offering flexibility for customer. Whole avionics can be changed according to customer requirement and even Engines can be replaced + It is cheaper than its competitor which gives advantage to hold its feets in asian/african market

So that was the reason PAF didn't participate in Bahrain air show to save their energies and efforts for the real markets. There was no solid reason of sale by participating in the oil rich Arab dominated arena where the spectators have more options and more advance aircraft in reach. This airshow will be prove very fruitful for JF-17 in terms of future customers.

JFT could be feasible for them in such times like low in budget and easy to maintain. JFT can provide them the best package to deal with their current threats like BH and many more in lowest price tag. Indeed, On other hand we are going to have twin seat JF-17B sooner, which will make it more easy to the upcoming customers for induction of this bird by having a training variant as well.

I think people kn PAF felt that Bahrain was more a civilian market and Morrocan venture might yield better results. PAF wants to concentrate on the market where JFTs prospects for sale are high. Lets all pray for success inshaaAllah.
