Then, how long will the training take for a pilot?Do we know?
Edit:
Right. AA is not a "state agency". I should have said "pro-government".
Look my friend the first pilots who will be trained on F-35 will become instructors. Currently Turkey has only 2 jets for training in US the number of jets will increase and the training program will pick up speed. I have no info on how many instructors Turkey plan to train in US so I cannot give any time frame my knowledge is limited in this field. All I can inform you is the method in which things will happen based on previous jet sales by US. Once Turkish instructors are trained Turkey can resume the training back home.
I can understand your concern about the new bill US senators have pushed and the time frame of one year on bill to decide the fate of F35 for Turkey but any planes that are used by Turkey belongs to Turkey US cannot block them. US might stop future deliveries but not the ones that have been already delivered to Turkey. US tries to hold the delivered one back Turkey can retaliate there many F22 stationed in Turkish air base. So don't worry Turkey has F-35 in it's hands.
