Maybe or maybe not.More recently, NATO is going in for regime change in Venezuela. Is NATO doing this out of humanitarian concern for Venezuelan people ??
I just watched a drama where he just chanted talaq three times, and then BG music, and it was officialSome how i am not surprised

A simple recent example : Syria and Libya existed as socialist states for decades until NATO sent thousands of terrorists aided by NATO forces to destroy those states. If anti-socialism was so attractive, those two states wouldn't have lost so many defenders and civilians ( tens of thousands of them in case of Libya and hundreds of thousands of them in case of Syria ). Why did it take military intervention ??
India being socialist is only as a goal in the preamble and not much in day-to-day administration. How successful is India generally ?? As one example, around 300,000 farmers committed suicide in India between 1995 and 2015. In which socialist country has this happened ??

They were collateral damage of the militancy vs Army. If Hindus really wanted them or used them, they would have been rebuilt.
Where are people raising their voice to rebuild those places? There are none. Because they were ruins and not in use anyway.
Babri Masjid on the other hand was destroyed in the heart of UP where no AFSPA was in place. It was destroyed even while 'protected' by Indian police. And the faith crores of us and abroad are associated with the place and we all want it rebuilt.
It was wrong of the government to interfere in religious matters. The issue should be left to be handled by the Muslim personal law board.
I can say India ceases to be secular nation because of Hindus.India is secular because of HINDUS...
I can say India ceases to be secular nation because of Hindus.
Talk is cheap.
Rebuild the Babri masjid. Then we will talk.
Oops. India is a secular republic.Don't talk... not a problem...
Plus, INDIA is not a secular nation... as we all follow our respective religion...
@Clutch already fact checked you on the Libyan "socialist" "success" (he actually LIVED there too unlike you).
First of all their suicide rate has to be markedly different from the general population of India. Is it?
I dunno, maybe you should first ask the lady that took her sick newborn baby to every Maduro run hospital in the area....each one rejected her and finally when one let her in....it was too late and the baby had died.
The same Maduro that could have let in medical supplies/donations from other countries (but it would have needed him admitting things were going badly because of his govt...which he still refuses to admit).
Oops. India is a secular republic.
But the State discriminates against Islam by turning a mute spectator when facing hindu terrorists.
I do not understand why people think instant divorce is not okay but divorce after after 3 months is okay. In the grand scheme of things of the married couple living separately for the rest of their lives, does three months really matter?

You wouldnt watch Liar Liar for tips on matters concerning prenuptial agreements now would youI just watched a drama where he just chanted talaq three times, and then BG music, and it was official

I have no issue with keeping TTT.No it doesn't; but if you would know, much of these decisions also happen due to impulsive attitude or being in some form of strong emotion such as anger or sadness or even ego. Given today's instagram culture and the increasing number of divorces due to difficulty in adjusting with each other, instant divorce will lead to an instant breakdown of the society.
The three months, often give time for the couple to contemplate and in fact, many marriages are saved when the two involved think through their decision with a cool mind.
You must also realise that the 'instant divorce' (Triple Talaq here) is usually not with mutual consent in this case and the woman hardly has any say, particularly in triple talaq. As a simple Google search might show you online, numerous pending cases, especially those in illiterate and semi-literate strata of the society are a major challenge. In a community where polygamy is allowed and so is rapid divorce, much of the voice of women goes suppressed. That, is simply unacceptable.
Just as regressive and draconian practises such as sati and child marriage are illegal (they may happen in rural pockets even now, but are nonetheless illegal) so is this and must be stopped. There is absolutely no justification to 'using' a woman and then throwing her away just because of a mood swing.
In the bigger scheme of things, this could mean the difference of saving a family and destroying one. The US, with its borderline weird levels of so-called freedoms is one society which is one of the most unstable ones. While its economic and government institutions are world-renowned in their stability, their society is in the dumps. Absolute zero tolerance and adjustment with each other, high rates of infidelity due to "boredom" (a by-product of instant gratification and materialistic mindset), etc have destroyed their family structure.
From a stable family-based society in 50s and 60s, to the neanderthal-like social system where most children don't get to see their parents live together and spend time with many different partners of each of their parents, this results in a disturbed society and has a psychological impact.
We may have many bad things and shortcomings in economic and government structure compared to US, but in the matters of family as a social foundation, we are far, far ahead. And as family is a founding pillar of our society in the Subcontinent, it makes all the sense for two angry people in a wedlock to think through their decision and be given equal rights in addressing their matters through an impartial court system.
Simple as that.
Triple Talaq is uncivilized and reduces women to nothing more than a commodity; something unfathomable in today's society. Period.
Secular means civil laws.
The judiciary of India is based on civil laws.
Hindus don't have a separate divorce law.
Christians don't have a separate divorce law.
Sikhs don't have a separate divorce law.
We don't have a separate divorce law.
In all our cases, we all have to go through the courts to settle the matter such that the rights of both sides are equally addressed in case the decision has to be made firm.
Only your variety of people have a problem following the national system.
BTW news flash for you; your co-religionists in Pakistan and Iran banned TT long back despite being Islamic countries.
Google is your friend here.
If you don't like being put on an equal pedestal with the rest of us, you are free to ride your so-called moral high-horse to Saudi Arabia to practise your commodity-trading mindset with women.
