Will PTI choose a more pro-China or pro-west or a balanced foreign policy?

Thing is,
PTI's most influential backing comes from Overseas Pakistanis,
Which are very vocal and have an obvious vested interest in Western values which by association means being sinophobic whether intentionally or by cultural brainwashing, whether PTI comes with pro-China policy in the future will depend on how important overseas backing to PTI is.

Overseas Pakistanis are overwhelmingly pro-China. We know how Western countries think regarding Pakistan because we live in Western countries. Let me assure you, Western countries don't care about Pakistan's well-being one bit. It is pure business. Whether it is the Pakistani army or IK. Western countries just want someone who listens to their demands. This is why Western countries have a track record of dealing with both military and civilian rulers shamelessly. On the one hand Western countries claim to be proponents and supporters of democracy. On the other hand, the Western countries deal with every kind of regime to further their interests. These two don't rhyme.

Pakistanis both in Western countries and in Pakistan fully understand that relations with China are mutually beneficial. China is a direct neighbor of Pakistan unlike Western countries. It is in China's best interest to see Pakistan prosper because it impacts the neighborhood. Western countries view Pakistan through Islamic and third world prism. Not only Pakistan, but most Islamic developing nations. It is an exploitative and transactional relationship.

From the Cold War era to the war in Afghanistan. We have been through a lot of ups and downs with the West. It would be safe to say many more downs than ups. Our military and the Western nations are predominantly responsible for the toxic relationship that we have developed today.

Now that any of these Pakistani politicians comes to power, Pakistan's diplomacy will not be much different, and it will be balanced diplomacy. The only person who might have changed the direction of Pakistan's diplomacy was Benazir in 2007, when she was surprisingly pro-US, saying she would allow US ground troops into Pakistan and the IAEA to interrogate AQ Khan if she survived , Pakistan will embark on a thorough and complete pro-US diplomatic path, and the diplomatic routes of other people are not much different

Our foreign policy needs to be based on our national interests, not playground politics. We need to consider all things.

The vast majority of Pakistani exports go to the west and the vast majority of our imports come from China. Both are crucial.

China has been a close a thing to a friend as is possible in international relations, it's stood by us unconditionally.
Western countries have always manipulated our fault lines to take advantage of Pakistan and to coerce Pakistan.

Our overseas disaposra is based mainly in western and middle east countries, keeping good ties with those countries means it's easier for us to export and trade with those countries as we already have links there. It'd be stupid to do anything unreasonable to degrade those ties, but at the same time, we have to keep our national interest ahead of that of any other country.

China has invested a huge amount in our country, we should be trying to take advantage of that to build ties in China. Gill is right - we don't understand Chinese culture, we don't have enough cultural contact and people to people exchange. We need to build that to help the business ties too. Private commerce is the real bridge between nations, it's as important as political ties.

for sure PTI was and will be pro west/American. First clue is all the top social media Team/tarators are located in london just like others from Sharif and MQM and his children's are also there like all the rest of politicians. IK himself is London plan.

Can we get a hold of the full unedited version of this speech?

We criticized Bajwa for saying the same exact thing

Is he wrong? IDK maybe not or maybe he is
But Whatever's the case he shouldn't have said it in public that too in English of all languages

This speech'll hamper Pakistan's diplomacy when PTI administration comes to power

Edit - (in light of this I edited my title) as @Tamerlane said " Shahbaz Gill’s remarks are from Dec 2017, before having any position in a PTI government."
Actually, the Chinese govt wanted to work with Imran Khan. Because when PTI took over they reported massive mismanagement of CPEC funds by Nawaz govt. And they wanted to fix those issues and the Chinese agreed. Because resolving the financial difficulties were need to be fixed first before further financing the projects. Plus, IMF asked the govt of Pakistan to submit a complete report of CPEC financing, which PTI govt refused.
Imagine the Orange train project financed from CPEC funds and it was not part of CPEC...the project is a financial disaster.

Yeah we’re not anti anything. Just want a prosperous Pakistan and personally for me, to kill Indian occupiers in IOK!

PTI's policy or for that matter any ruling party's alignment should be solely to the best interest of Pakistan.
We should stop simplifying as pro-western or pro-chinese etc and giving them legitimacy.

As far overseas Pakistanis are concerned they only wish for a prosperous Pakistan.

Where is Bajwa located? What about Raheel Sharif? Or Musharraf? Or Kiyani?

Notice a trend?
