Will Nawaz Sharif get an NRO?

• accepts he looted it publicly

I am struggling to understand this logic..Corruption cases are in court and should reached to final conclusion because right now its all just speculation about how much Nawaz looted etc etc..You need to establish corruption first before talking about recovery of supposed looted wealth lol If you let him go in the middle of the legal process then they will have all right to cry that there was no evidence of corruption or corruption charges were not proved in court of law etc so establishment and ruling government will be criminal to let them go..If they are criminals then they should be punished (after due process )as per Pakistani law and why giving them escape route . You are not patriot if you make deals with criminals

Mate, Nawaz has already been convicted in 2 corruption cases and one case has been dismissed, he got bail on one case but the conviction still stands. His current place of residence is jail (though he is on a medical break right now)

Personally speaking the nation needs character more then money

To showcase they can imprison a rich man , a criminal man , a BC man for his crime sends a strong message

Jail Sentence can be reduced from 7 years to 3 , if he gives up 90% of his wealth

I don't see that NAB ever succeeded to convict one known person through courts because NAB persecutors are incompetent and my point is if final destination of Nawaz is in jail and bigger court would upheld these punishments then why giving them escape route or NRO? Let them fight legal battle and faced the consequences of their wrong doings.. I heard Imran last time said that Government and establishment are one same page then why talk about NRO now ?

What are you talking about, a verdict is a decision, a guilty verdict is a conviction. Accountability courts are still courts, not every case goes to high court or SC. You can only apply for appeals in higher courts. Also if you even read the geo.tv link it says a suspension of their sentences, it still didn't say "Not guilty"

After the sentence of IHC, this happened in SC

"The apex court, in its ruling, said that NAB has failed to provide the "ground for cancellation of bail" and that the IHC had not exceeded its authority in granting bail to the convicts of the Avenfield reference."

In this the SC has clearly mentioned that they are "convicts"

So unless any of the courts pronounce them "Not Guilty" they will remain convicts. You can twist the events to your liking as much as you want, the fact is that Nawaz is a convict and is in jail.

Accepting a deal is tantamount to an admission of guilt pretty much!If the deal gives crap load of cash to Pakistan and we dont get to see the ppl ever again, I say make the deal. In politics & diplomacy, nothing is carved in stone, if u think it is, go back home and stay indoors!

You did not even bother to read rest of the posts.. I said let nawaz challenges this decision of NAB/anti corruption/Accountability courts and let them fought the legal battle instead of giving them safe exit through NRO because they will bring excuse that cases are politically motivated ..these conviction can be challenged in upper courts and appeal cases are still pending so dont dont what is hard there to understand..

What was established there ? Nawaz sharif did not provide money trails? How much money was looted and from where? How should looted money be recovered?
And is it final and cannot be challenged? Upper court have right to either uphold this conviction or dismiss it and thats where boht parties fight legal battles

Same deal happened with Musharraf and he got back and won election so punishment will hurt PML N more than having escape route but it will be defeat to ideology of PTI i.e no NRO to corrupt and we run country not estabalisment
