The Chinese military build up was planned long before the Aug 5 thing even happened. The indians knew it beforehand. The Chinese also knew about the greater game America was plotting. If india really had the will to fight, they'd had done so long before feb27 but either they under estimated the Chinese threat or over estimated the american support.
If it was any other country that had a semblance of pride and guts they'd have taken the fight to the Chinese by now. They don't even have the same magnitude of disparity like Pak and India have in terms of troops, resources and international support. Yet you don't see any intent. Just bollywoodian antics.

The Chinese must be a little surprised to, at the lack of backbone shown by the indians. They must have expected a little more than bollywoodian hollow jingoism and a ban on tiktok.
