Brother,India inherited all Military designs from the British empire, and can't be a Military force in the region by design. Buying a large number of weapons and showing numbers doesn't show the victory( e.g if the number is a multiplier of victory then USSR and USA both are defeated in Afghanistan battleground by ? you know the answer ). It is a dependency that we learn during 1971(it is just optics, in reality, one superpower break us not India(doesn't have that much courage to break us) and then in the same history, We taught them a lesson ripped them in thousands of pieces and everyone who involved in this sin) and came out from this dilemma and became self-sufficient in weapon design. Pakistan never lost any war with India; why I say so because if we lost any war with India, then LOC and ceasefire on the ground shouldn't have existed, and both forces are not standing eye-ball-eye.
Thinking strategically and developing an appreciation of military power are two significant shortcomings of India's foreign policy. China on Glawan gave cognitive shocks to India, which paralyze Indian cognitive control biasing. India's military and political mindset is entirely out of balanced and lost their thinking power; that is why we are seeing them buying time to come out from this Chinese surprise shock, but it is the great defeat of India; it is destroying the internal image of Ma Bharat.once you lose your National Power, you destroyed your national morale and to gain back this national morale the only way for India is to attack Pakistan. And this will be a final and decisive battle we all are waiting desperately and praying to Allah, let me die in this war.
I respect your nationalism - I truly do.
I don't see the prospects of India attacking Pakistan in force though; THEY understand the risks very well.
My assessment in the following post: https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/jf-1...-of-swift-retort.677399/page-16#post-12565960
I would be really surprised if India is willing to take its chances with Pakistan, again.
