The army chief vowed to ensure secure and prosperous future to youth of Pakistan. “We will give a secure and prosperous Pakistan to our future generations,” he was quoted as saying by the military's media wing.

Gen Raheel lauded the tribal elders for their full support to the security forces in their effort for peace and stability of the region, read the statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations.

He also ordered to complete the return of remaining IDPs within stipulated time before the end of 2016.

The army chief inaugurated various development projects in the area which include 84-kilometre long Bannu-Miranshah-Ghulan Khan road funded by USAID and Younus Khan Sports Stadium.

He also visited newly opened Army Public School in Chagmalai.

During the visit to Miranshah, Begum Raheel Sharif had a separate interaction with the huge gathering of local ladies. She appreciated their sacrifices and heard their issues related to resettlement, the ISPR said.

And btw its conspiracy theorists and ungrateful elements like you who have have made common sense uncommon in our part of the world. A chief who showed loyalty to an elected PM is being projected as rogue and humiliated now.

All these institutes CAN be corrected overnight but the politicians and their supporters will start making loud noises because their corruption, incompetence and sources of black money will get closed and these corrupt politicians may get hanged. The majority of the nation is still sleeping or silent.

Past 50 years of corruption requires a hard intervention to eradicate the corruption but such an action will be declared "danger to democracy" by corrupt politicians.

Burning sensation ?

Kinda getting tired of Indians on their media and here predicting martial law and subtle hints that he wants to take over. Man they want a martial law in pakistan more than the guys that hung the posters inviting him to a martial law. Ridiculous. He has only a few days and he has made it clear that he will leave. No analysts is predicting a martial law but hey nothing stops them.

These Hicks are so desperate that they don't even understand the difference between I and We and an institution whose job is to provide security and that institution has stated that it's their job to protect pakistan from internal and external threat so a statement stating " WE" here means the institution will provide ( means that the institution will continue to battle the threat of terrorism) a secured future for our next generations.

Extreme trolling.

Anyhow good statement but for that we have to crack down on the Punjabi taliban, secure the border and bring reforms not only in all our provincial police forces but also political reforms in FATA so that this war will never be repeated. The reform part lies solely on the political establishment.

This was but the first step. Before this operation began, I mentioned over here that the success of this operation will be determined not by the military but by the political establishment on how they will bring development and reforms. The mission is to make sure FATA does not go Back to square one.

Why doesn't he meet CM of other provinces secretly and so frequently? I guess you will find the facts about your allegation while answering above....

I don't want to go in recent history as same secret meetings happened between previous COAS with same CM of Punjab.....

We have a name for this disease. It is India specific. It is called the CPEC sensational burning effect.

Be rest assured, Pakistan's future is bright.

' Will give ' should be noted down.

He does not want to retire.

It should also be noted me lord ..... how intentionally (as usual complying to his already propaganda fed mind) this indian has missed

"We"
in the beginning of the sentence. May be he needs to learn the difference between when someone says "We would do this" and when the same person says "I would do this".

We will give a secure and prosperous Pakistan to our future generations,”
