That points to negligible domestic consumption, I guess that is why west is complaining.

Our economic structure is healthy.

Both China and US have a 3 trillion foreign trade, but we got a 200 billion of trade surplus, whereas Yankees got a 600 trillion of trade deficit.

That's why they whine so much. :D

LOL of course, the west terms it as unfair trade policies.
Lop-sided trade is not sustainable and it will effect everyone in the long run.

I think democratic nations have greater incentives to fudge their statistic than autocratic regimes. I prefer to look at other statistics like export/import, energy consumption, commodity consumption, industrial output, corporate earning release to supplement official statistics.

I wonder how other democracies fares to US statistic morass:

China as a state has existed for many thousands of years. We have gone through countless numbers of economic crashes in our history, and outlived them all.

The Soviet Union on the other hand could not survive even one economic crash, and as a state lived only from 1922-1991.

India too was created only recently by the British colonialists in 1947, out of a bunch of independent kingdoms.

And they have already been split in half when the Muslims demanded their own homeland. Which will be repeated again, when the population of Indian Muslims reaches 40-50%.
