Not at all! It's just that Hindus have become that way & the religion has followed whereas it's the religion holding all the cards with Islam.

Would you say that majority of Hindus have changed their religion to suit them today? I still have Hindu friends who adhere to their religion strictly and then again I have Hindu friends who enjoy beef regularly? Besides, Islam is a religion for all times until the end of time so it does not have to evolve or change unlike other religions.

What I am talking about is what happens not what Quran says...NEVER said anything against the Quran...But Mr. Zarvan, without understanding something goes on and on like a broken tape recorder! I am talking about how men misuse the rights of being called a head by becoming a dictator...and he is going on and on about how Quran gave man the rights to be head...

I am not here to defend anyone, I rather agree with your posts. Both husband and wife have rights over each other, it's not just the husband who enjoys rights.

Then he says when every male in a woman's life is dead she suddenly grows brains and is capable of making the right decisions! So for starters a woman needs to kill all the males in her life otherwise her brain will not allow her to make right decisions according to Islam?

Listen, we all believe that paradise lies under the feet of one's mother, can any man top that position? Perhaps Zarvan is unable to explain himself but as far as I understand, my mrs. is free to make her own decisions. Besides, a woman is entrusted with the upbringing of her children....the next generation so nobody can even imagine a woman to be incapable. I am personally biased and sexist as I personally believe that women and men are not equal. I believe that women are superior to men ............. that's my point of view established because of my interaction with my mother.

How sure are you it came from them? Could it not be practiced in India just like it was/ still is practiced in some parts of Africa and was there in Egypt! Because Islam abolished it and those Arabs who came to India were Muslims...
