Having different point of views is not a problem...I am not sure why no one points out how peacefully Prophet lived with the people of Madina and their different religions...How when Islam spread it was peaceful...Why do Muslims themselves try to make it sound like it REALLY did spread by sword?

If it did...Not a single Spanish would be a non-Muslim! Not a Single Turk would be a non-Muslim! Not a single African or any other areas where Muslims traveled would have non-Muslims...THAT would be spreading with the sword!

THAT is the thing...all religions changed...Islam will not! And if it is divine then there needs no change! Because it was sent down perfect...This is where we differ from the rest of the religions...We do not believe Islam needs any changing...

That's the problem. Religion doesn't change, people do. If people want to impose a 1000,2000 or 5000 year philosophy today and claim it to be the only way, obviously we have a problem. Btw, your not believing that change is necessary is exactly the problem. Change is always necessary. You won't directly submit yourself to a 1000 year medical treatment without allowing for the evolution of the same, why should religion be any different?

Dude, the interpretation can be bent through Ijtehad in Islam, however, there aren't people of that stature available to reinterpret certain guidelines to make them coherent to modern times.
