i have even seen so many foreigners lately visited Pakistan and now even settling here permanently never heard such stories when they visit india.

New generation of Pakistanis dont even know much about india anymore to have any interest in that country wht we see about india just comes from news which is not so appealing at all to visit this country.

Indian army is coming to Pakistan for the SCO drill this year. Why dont you give a stern warning to Bajwa to keep his troops from shaking a leg to Bollywood songs?

Visit India, why not. Would like to see Old Delhi. Eat nihari there. BTW just a question, Nihari is beef nihari here, what nihari is sold in Delhi? If it is chicken than no I don't want to visit India. I don't trust people who eat Chicken Nihari and ask for Chicken Stake.

You get beef everywhere in India. Including the city I live in (Poona).

But if you are hell bent on proving a point and try to get cow beef, you might get lynched for your efforts.

Then we will have a messy India Pakistan tu tu mai mai spat because of your stupidity.

But otherwise yes, you will get beef nihari.

It has been two years since all road, rail, and air links between India and Pakistan have been severed ( Link ) . The only Pakistanis visiting India are minorities from Pakistan on religious pilgrimage. (We are not discussing a reverse flow of Sikh and Hindu pilgrims from India).

There have been longer instances when travel between India and Pakistan have been suspended , such as from 1971 to 1979.
Unlike previous instances it is remarkable that there are no requests from certain quarters in Pakistan to our government to come to terms with India and renew travel links between the countries. The generation of immigrants interested in traveling to meet relatives back in India is dead.

This is the best thing that has happened over the seven odd decades since our nation was founded. It is not evident that the newer generation of Pakistanis have any inclination to visit India as tourists.

But a question to PDF members here .
Who would be interested in visiting India and if so why ?

I know plenty of married couples with a wife or husband from the other country living abroad.
They would definitely want to visit when they could.

India is a dirty and messed up place and Indians here need to accept that. Specially when you compare it with Pakistan. (Indians who depend on their media to know Pakistan won't get it)
And I'm saying this after having spent plenty of years outside Pakistan and having known Indians up close and compared their way and style of living with an average Pakistani.

So there is definitely no tourism related desires among the majority of Pakistanis, when it comes to seeing something special or better in India.
And yet there are plenty who have other reasons. Some would just be curious. Others had their parents or grand parents come from India. And yet there are others who would just want to go and see and meet some Indians (curiosity can be real among those who haven't met an Indian in Real life)

Reminds me of an incident on Wagah check post in 2003 after the ceasefire, when the gate was closed for months due to Operation Parikaram. 14th August during Pakistan's independence day, the BSF band moved close to the gate repeatedly playing the tune of a Punjabi folk song;
" Nache je todde liye , tu kya doge "
(Trans: If I dance for you what will you give me..)

The BSF band played on incessant and repeatedly.
After a while came the sound of the
Rangers band playing on the other side . They played the song ( Hans Raj Hans , Indian Singer ).
" Nache jo sadde naal tainu dil vi davange ..."
( Trans: Whoever dances with us, we will give our hearts)
