Why We Should Keep Sheikh Hasina in Power

who will eliminate her ? how you are so sure ?

thank you betua .kaisi gujar rahi ?

in today's world of diplomacy alliances are changing fast , so bangladesh has option of adjusting it's foreign policy according to it's needs .
This is old pattern and these kind of people is use and throw kind. superpower uses these people and throw them when they think that at some point they might be harmful for them. This is very old practice and still continues

.
while I will not protest what you have said , but to be honest BD military officers have not learned their place. For a coup to happen in a country like bangladesh, the military needs the diplomatic support of a foreign power. without the support of such a said power no coup has ever happend, nor it will ever happen in bangladesh. At the point in time no such backer exist but i suspect in the next 5-10 years this may happen.

I assure you majority of officers in Bangladesh Military just dont like india...

Good point but let's make the distinction of India as an administration (Central Govt.) and Indians as people. I'm sure lots of Indians in some states don't like their central govt's policy either.

We don't have to keep her in power. She does it herself. The problem is Awami league leaders are burning all the bridges to stay peacefully in the country without power. If something happens to Hasinq, Awami league leaders will have to flee the country very quickly leaving all their properties or they will be hunted down and will have no sympathy from general people.

Looks all nice for them now. But it will get equally ugly when the time comes.

.
Congrats to Hasina Madam. Her return to power is a great thing which has happened t BD. BD can now aspire to be a great nation.

They honestly do not see the damage they do long term (or do not care....i.e kick the can down the road and try deal with it later).

If they were so confident in continued mandate, they should have allowed the people to voice that. Instead they just proved all the detractors of BAL are correct. This will not end well in the long run....if you keep adding heat to a pressure vessel of water...and there is no relief valve...it may seem you keep everything under control...until the inevitable finally happens.

Are you totally stupid?

Yes it ended so badly for Taiwan, Korea etc...

Can really see how much worse off they are now than India.

Now get lost as your opinions on BD are not required.

Hasina is.doing fine

Yes, but the people are not fine. You can seek evidence from neutral sources.

@Skies

Firstly, AL come to power illegally with the help of army in 2008 and with some long term agendas. They know that in a fair election they have no chance.

Secondly, AL has a long-term vision for which they will need 20+ years. Now they know that they can not rule 20 years in a go with a fair election. So they appointed their own people in every possible institutes. Their plan is to rule until 2041 (and then forever) and Hasina's plan is to pave the way for her son.

Thirdly, AL has tested the people of Bangladesh many times in last 10 years.
No one knows better than them how to play with people. (The people of Bangladesh mostly do not have the ability to verify their political claim e.g. BD getting Singapore, development bla bla..)

They tested if they can get away with big pressures from the opposition after doing crimes.
For example,
  • BDR killing in 2009
  • Hanging War criminals without proper trials
  • Stock market looting in 2011
  • Motijil movement on 5 may, 2013
  • Forming fovernment without election in 2014
  • Suppressing quota movement 2018
  • Suppressing safe street movement 2018
  • Preventing election campaign of BNP and JI before election
Now they are openly admitting vote rigging..cos they know people are weak against them, which is proven multiple times.

Fourth, yes pressurized vessel (people) can only blast if the pressure outside is lower then the pressure inside.

Five, only army can bring democracy in BD by going against AL. But this is not possible unless there is any division in army.

.
If BNP came to power, they would have put most of the ongoing project under some kind or review process, thus delaying them. AL and BNP are both corrupt, but development needs to go on unhindered with AL, its just choosing the lesser devil. The point is military does not like or trust BNP, while AL has the blessings of the Military. The word on the street is DGFI is the one that literally broke Tariq Zias back.
If anyone can take a deep look at all the major projects contractors, that individual will find the presence of military in some capacity or form for better or worse.

Everyone would like to see a proper form of representative government, however at this moment no one is willing to risk growth for that type of government.

I feel you have some irreparable mental issues. You jitter at hearing others' opinion and you want others to repeat your wrong opinion all the time. A psychiatric test may pinpoint the state of your disease. Please see a psychiatrist.

I hope you to understand my English and do accordingly. By the way, what Korea, Taiwan you are talking above? Have they gone below the Indian level of industrialization, education or economic activities? Since when? Please say something that is true. Instead of worrying about other countries, you should concentrate on what happens to BD when its foreign loans/GDP goes up to 30% by 2023?

No one stays in power forever. Just one look at history will tell you this

Joy will not enter BD politics, even if he does or any other member of mujib family does will never command the same amount of respect as Hasina.

Awami League will be finished after Hasina. Too many leaders and not enough talents in that party to lead them. After Hasina , Awami league will rip apart due to its corrupt leaders and infighting

Joy has 0 experience in politics. And his mother has no intention of retiring. Heck Joy rarely stays in BD. Possibility of Joy taking charge of Awami league is very low. It could be Sheikh Rehana's son or Sheikh Tonmoy....but most likely someone like Quader or Tofael will take charge short term. But none will get the backing of every Awami leaders and Administration like Hasina does. Tbh, I feel if something happens to Hasina, half of Awami League top leadership will flee to foreign countries.

Hasina will deal with it. She with all her faults, did not make life worse for average people. But after her it will be different.

So even 2008 caretaker govt was illegal ? So what is legal ? Only when BNP wins ? @Skies

I am now surprised why @Nilgiri consider you as impartial? If you are impartial , then who is partisan?

May be you do not know many stories behind...there are references to support my claim... but I am not interested to find those old things.....but you can study more on BDR killing, its real reason and neutralizing BD army as a revenge of 2001 border incident with India......

@Nilgiri considers me impartial because of my comment on economic and development issues

but he might consider partial me on this India and army issues...does not matter that much.....

2001 border conflict happened during AL time, and this simple thing is unknown to you , yet you are writing spy thriller . What reason is this ? :o:

And what do you want me to study on BDR mutiny ? Some garbage blogs ?No one actually know what is happening inside army . Military organizations are not British parliament , where you will be allowed to know everything you expect and also can give your opinion . , because most of things are related to national security , and you do not need to become rocket scientist to know the simple fact .

@Nilgiri considers me impartial because of my comment on economic and development issues
Now I can bet , if BNP was would sit in power instead of AL , your development issues ( by BNP) would create more fuss than ukbengali's AL development issues .
