Correct. In Pakistan army elects the government. Govt of Pak is nothing but a puppet without any power. All the major decisions r taken by the army and the government is there just for show off, nothing else.

Even after the retirement army personnel held most of the influential bureaucratic positions inside the government. Thank god in Bangladesh we civilians order the Army, not the other way around

You guys have your uninformed assumptions that BD people are hating Hasina and want to remove her from power, so Hasina must keep the military weak. That assumption is wrong. Hasina and AL are popular in BD, with AL that led the freedom struggle in 71, very significant majority of people love AL, specifically because Hasina being the daughter of Mujeeb, and she is also a damn good leader.

And in Rohingya crisis it was our deliberate policy not to engage them militarily. The MM wanted exactly that, to trick us into a war or at least a skirmish to divert the attention of the world away from the genocide. We have astute politicians and we won't fall into this kind of cheap trick, neither are we hot headed idiots who think everything can be resolved by war. Besides Bangladesh with its rapid economic progress has a lot to lose in such a war, we won't sacrifice the fate of 16 crore peoole for about 1 million Rohingya.

And we will make Haseena or whoever we want our Queen, Sultana or PM. Our country our choice, none of your business. Focus on your country, we are more than capable of deciding what we do with our country.
