Why the U.S.-Saudi Crisis is So Bad and So Unnecessary

This is no longer about any sort of strategic repositioning of Saudi foreign policy.

MBS deliberately made it personal when he explicitly decided to cut production quotas drastically right before the U.S. midterm elections.

MBS is a dead man walking now.

The U.S. can allow Saudi to do all kinds of shit, but to directly threaten the sitting U.S. president's political future for something so petty as to not waiting a few weeks to do the production cuts after the mid-term elections, especially when they got assurances that the U.S. can keep crude oil prices propped up until then by refilling the strategic petroleum reserve when the spot WTI price goes below 75-80 USD.

So many international players are playing the current crisis so extremely poorly that it's kind of unbelievable.

Europeans committing economic suicide despite the U.S. not forcing them to other than on natural gas.

MBS doing literally the most retarded ploy possible.

Putin refusing to commit the needed level of troops to win decisively in Ukraine.

This is the most unrealistic timeline.

All are build and equipped with western influences. MBS NEEDs his very own Guard ! His military capabilities depends to much on western training and equipment. If he can start to build independent and fully trained and equipped Saudi Corps Trained and equipped with Pakistani help Then MBS can rule till end his live like he wishes including not being a lackey of the US, otherwise he will be washed away by his own military and agency’s.

Seriously they have security units independent of American influence. Pakistani security personnel helps. Not because of their competence. They are not Arab they are not Saudis. they are outsiders. they are less likely to fall victim to Saudi politics.

You mean to save tiny Kuwait that was invaded by 100 times larger Iraq cowardly? How did that go for Saddam?

How many times do you need to be told that no regional actor is capable of invading a gigantic country like KSA with extreme challenging geography, weather, almost 40 million big population and the Land of the Two Holy Mosques?

KSA alone would be able to gather potentially millions of volunteers who would fight to death to protect Makkah, Madinah and Arabia from any outside aggressor.

There are no US troops in KSA. The only US troops in KSA are a limited number of training personnel. Zero US bases in KSA too.

Just empty threats. The same US has now backtracked.

Who cares if a few training personal leaves? KSA is perfectly capable of protecting itself from any regional actor. Nor are the US going to throw 80 years of alliance away. It is just empty talk during the "silly season" (midterm elections).

KSA did not change their views or decisions in regards to OPEC + despite those empty words. What does that tell you?

700,000 American troops saved Saudi Arabia from Iraq, and Saudis/GCC begged America for it. Moreover, how is cheering for high oil price in the interest of Pakistan?

Saddam's army had the armor and mobility to attempt a takeover. I doubt how successful they would have been. fortunately the world is too dependent on Saudi oil to allow that to happen

Iraq took over Kuwait in the middle of the night, literally in a few hours. Expatriates in Kuwait went to work in the morning surprised to see the country completely taken over with Iraqi tanks on road intersections. The ruling establishment had fled to Saudi Arabia in the night. Saddam could have captured all of Eastern GCC in three or four days max.

GCC fears Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen. America is their security. Saudis had urgent request for American patriot missiles.

you ain't seen nothing yet, internet is a weird place or people are just plain retards or pretenders or both. there is one so-called Pakistani on this forum asking ruskies to bomb Pakistan for selling UK a few artillery shells for Ukraine.

also there is whole bunch of pervy weirdos here who want to have unnatural sex with Gen. Bajwa and his relatives. and your cursed mods seem to be cheering them on, on a so-called Pakistani defense forum.

The 82nd airborne can be sent in 24-48 hours. It would be hell of a fight.

Let see if MBS will replace USD to Yuan for his oil sales. That will be the real trigger point.

We can agree that Israel, Saudi Arabia and Qatar are the three most important countries to the USA.

First of all, Saudi Arabia is a special country, which is unlikely to undergo regime change planned by the CIA. If the CIA did this, it would probably completely infuriate the Islamic world. The control of the USA over Saudi Arabia comes from two aspects. One is to use Israel to threaten the entire Arab world. The second is to provide arms to Arab countries to deal with the threat of Israel. Therefore, MBS really has the capital to test the bottom line of the USA when the relationship between Saudi Arabia and Israel is gradually normalized and Israel is gradually inclined to regional interests.

Second, Americans did not force Europeans to stop buying Russian gas. However, the American controlled European media, European political parties and other forces will force Europeans to do so. After the Marshall Plan, Europeans no longer had complete sovereignty. Leaders committed to European independence, such as Merkel and Sarkozy, will be stigmatized. There is no free lunch in this world, and the Marshall Plan also has a price.

Third, for Russia, rapid occupation of Ukraine cannot solve its security problems. Let the European economy collapse will not solve the problem. Only let the USA fall into the quagmire of war, consume the national strength of the USA, and change the situation of the whole world. This can solve Russia's security problems. Russia has the largest resources in the world, and its economic situation has a lower limit. Russia has a large number of nuclear bombs, and the scale of the Ukrainian war is limited. Russia is not afraid of a protracted war.

700,000 American troops saved Saudi Arabia from Iraq, and Saudis/GCC begged America for it. Moreover, how is cheering for high oil price in the interest of Pakistan?
First of all, Saddam was originally a war monster cultivated by Americans.

Secondly, after Saddam invaded Kuwait, he did deploy 100000 troops on the Saudi border. But at that time, it was not the Americans who prevented Saddam Hussein from invading, but the ICBM displayed on TV by the Saudi Royal Strategic Missile Force and the nuclear warhead rumored.

"Saudi" isn't even a real country.

It's a warlord backed by the British, and now by the U.S.

The moment the U.S. withdraws their backing to MBS, MBS is done.

MBS can be replaced at the drop of a hat, it's simply a matter of Washington deciding if it is worth the political capital it would cost.

Arabia is special for it's oil.

Saudi, however, is not special, and can be replaced at any time.

The Europeans are not children.

Their decisions are their own.

I have personal sources that tell me that the U.S. isn't forcing the Europeans to do most of the sanctions.

The only reason the U.S. hasn't deployed official troops into Ukraine is due to not wanting escalation.

The U.S. could easily destroy the entire Russian force in Ukraine if the want not to escalate the situation too far wasn't there.

Russia's extremely poor performance in the war so far has been entirely due to Putin's incompetence in refusing to increase forces dedicated to the war effort. Especially the extreme unwillingness to put forth adequate troop numbers.

A long drawn-out war is worst for the Russians, and the best for the U.S.

It doesn't really change the situation in the European economy whether it's a long or short war.

The only one who loses if the war drags on is Russia.

This is extreme delulu that is all I have to say.. Try to come into the two holy lands and create something fun and see yourself the outcome.. You could bring the whole world with you.. You won't do shxt there and won't achieve a meter..

NATO or the US ain't going to Russia because they can be destroyed entirely besides stop overrating they lost in Afghanistan and simply outlasted..

You can't do jackshxt in Hejaz (KSA) that is a fact unless someone was seeking nuclear war which is what the response will be if anyone was to attempt on the holy territory and trigger a volcano of wars to the likeness of these the world has never witnessed before..

Triggering a war against 2 billion also giving them the ultimatum of no other choice then to fight and motivating them to the gills... It would be like putting two billion against the wall giving them no other opportunities but to fight.. Nothing sustainable will be achieved from that except a destroyed world and matching them conventionally as the offensive party is difficult recruiting so many volunteers is impossible for an offensive hence the defenders would outnumber as the defenders would be out of choice by default

Saudi National Guard exists and the guy in line for succession was head of National GUard that MBS had removed.

I don't care how this thing unravels: MBS personally is a disgrace , not because of this standing up to Europe or US, but his destruction on Yemen compares only to what Israel has done.

MBS real failure will be long-term: Noem where he will exhaust all the Saudi foreign reserves as a base to attract foreign investments. Where is he going to attract this investment from: Pakistan? NO. He has be courting Europeans/Americans. That is what is at risk. It takes more than a loyal army to survive.

nopes that was wrong,
Miteb was not in line.
Nayef was.
Nayef headed the MOI.
Your opinion please, can the MBS be seen him
Self safe compared to the fateful death of King Faisal ?

Sources please.
what is wrong with you ?
can't you type straight english ?
or just google history ?
